:00:30. > :00:40.And jubilation as the Swans remain in the Premier League.

:00:41. > :00:44.Suspicious activity has been identified on six

:00:45. > :00:48.NHS computers in Wales following the international

:00:49. > :00:51.But the Welsh Government says patient data and

:00:52. > :00:58.As part of measures to defend the Welsh NHS, emails to staff

:00:59. > :01:01.from outside the organisation are still blocked.

:01:02. > :01:03.Our health correspondent Owain Clarke is in the newsroom.

:01:04. > :01:17.Thank you. We know around 47 NHS organisations in England and 13 in

:01:18. > :01:24.Scotland were affected by the global cyber attack, a virus was unleashed

:01:25. > :01:30.by criminals which locks computer files and demand a ransom to unlock

:01:31. > :01:34.them. We know services across the border continue to be disrupted

:01:35. > :01:41.which may have some impact on some Welsh patients but it appears to be

:01:42. > :01:44.IT systems in the Welsh NHS appeared to have withstood the breach with

:01:45. > :01:52.the Welsh Government announcing this morning although six computers were

:01:53. > :01:57.identified as having suspicious activities, systems within the NHS

:01:58. > :02:03.prevented the virus from being activated. Those computers have been

:02:04. > :02:06.isolated from the wider system. A lot of work took place over the

:02:07. > :02:13.weekend to protect systems here in Wales.

:02:14. > :02:19.We know that NHS staff won't be able to receive e-mails from outside the

:02:20. > :02:24.organisation. Those have been blocked. They can still e-mail each

:02:25. > :02:28.other. We expect the situation to be reviewed at three o'clock this

:02:29. > :02:32.afternoon. We know IT experts have been working all weekend and the

:02:33. > :02:37.Welsh Government says it has been investment into protecting the

:02:38. > :02:42.system. The longer term question here is, whether or not the Welsh

:02:43. > :02:46.NHS did in fact have a lucky escape or whether or not the system was

:02:47. > :02:48.more robust to be able to withstand the attack that has affected so

:02:49. > :02:49.many. A man from Kinmel Bay has appeared

:02:50. > :02:52.before Llandudno magistrates charged with the murder of 43-year-old Tracy

:02:53. > :02:54.Kearns. Anthony James Bird who's 48 has been

:02:55. > :03:00.remanded in custody to appear before Tracey Kearns' body

:03:01. > :03:03.was found on Saturday, A 24-year-old man who attacked

:03:04. > :03:12.a police officer after taking the drug Spice has been jailed

:03:13. > :03:15.for 20 months. It took seven officers to bring

:03:16. > :03:18.Leroy Parry from Swansea under control after he sank his teeth

:03:19. > :03:21.into one of the officer's arm in an PC Gareth Phillips described

:03:22. > :03:30.the pain as "excruciating". Deaf children are underachieving

:03:31. > :03:32.at every stage of their education in Wales compared

:03:33. > :03:35.to hearing children according to figures

:03:36. > :03:38.seen by BBC Wales. The National Deaf Children's Society

:03:39. > :03:42.has described the gap as appalling and has called for more

:03:43. > :03:44.training for teachers. 12-year-old Joab believes

:03:45. > :03:53.he's a better drummer His teachers make sure

:03:54. > :04:02.he can read their lips But at the very beginning

:04:03. > :04:07.of secondary school One of the big effects I had was

:04:08. > :04:12.homework because sometimes I would miss somethings when it comes

:04:13. > :04:17.to doing homework, I wouldn't know a certain thing for the homework

:04:18. > :04:20.or I wouldn't know what the homework And it's these kinds

:04:21. > :04:24.of classroom issues that are causing deaf

:04:25. > :04:27.pupils to underachieve Official figures for last year

:04:28. > :04:33.showed 49% of deaf children achieved A star to C grades

:04:34. > :04:38.in the core GCSE subjects. That's compared to 70%

:04:39. > :04:42.of hearing children. But there's a gap

:04:43. > :04:45.at every key stage. Because year-on-year you would

:04:46. > :04:50.expect to see an improvement. If there was appropriate

:04:51. > :04:53.commitment to reducing this attainment gap then

:04:54. > :04:59.you would expect to see a reduction. The Welsh Government says it's

:05:00. > :05:01.looking to introduce new laws that'll completely overhaul the way

:05:02. > :05:05.pupils with additional learning It's promised ?20 million

:05:06. > :05:11.to accompany the changes. Joab has won prizes for his

:05:12. > :05:14.achievements in school but other children with hearing loss

:05:15. > :05:17.aren't being given the chance Paul Clement has been nominated

:05:18. > :05:28.for the Manager of the Season after his role in helping

:05:29. > :05:30.Swansea City retain A win for the Swans on Saturday

:05:31. > :05:34.and defeat for rivals Hull yesterday meant their survival was confirmed

:05:35. > :05:39.with one game left to play. Clement is the third man in charge

:05:40. > :05:43.at Swansea in the last 12 months and is credited by many

:05:44. > :05:46.for turning their season around. In seventh heaven as a seventh

:05:47. > :05:53.season in the Premier League was The players jubilant as they watch

:05:54. > :05:58.rivals Hull get beaten by relief after a season that has

:05:59. > :06:08.seen them on the edge. Swansea had done their part

:06:09. > :06:10.on Saturday, any early nerves quashed as a 2-0 win over

:06:11. > :06:13.already relegated Sunderland In the end it was a breeze

:06:14. > :06:20.for Crystal Palace with a 4-0 trouncing sealing Hull's destiny

:06:21. > :06:26.and Swansea City's. For Swansea it has been incredible

:06:27. > :06:28.revival, coming back At Christmas they were rock bottom

:06:29. > :06:32.searching for their third They struck third time lucky,

:06:33. > :06:37.Paul Clement was appointed in January with the club

:06:38. > :06:39.in dire straits. He has been credited by many

:06:40. > :06:43.for turning things around. When you come into

:06:44. > :06:45.a club and your remit it is to keep your team in

:06:46. > :06:49.the division, that's what it was for Paul Clement and he has done that,

:06:50. > :06:52.it is 100% success for me, irrespective of winning a few games,

:06:53. > :06:55.losing a few poor games but the fact that Swansea City

:06:56. > :06:57.are still in the You have to say it is

:06:58. > :07:02.down to Paul Clement. He has done a great job,

:07:03. > :07:05.he has come in there in difficult circumstances and Swansea have

:07:06. > :07:09.finished one position above the West Brom come to the Liberty

:07:10. > :07:15.Stadium this weekend for the No doubt there will be a party

:07:16. > :07:19.atmosphere but lessons must be learnt to ensure

:07:20. > :07:22.Swansea are not in this Staying up would not normally be

:07:23. > :07:27.cause for celebration but this A look at the weather

:07:28. > :07:33.now, Sue's here. And it's been a wet start

:07:34. > :07:45.to the day for some of us. After a weekend of sunshine and

:07:46. > :07:49.showers it is a much cloudy day today. Breezy and rain at times. We

:07:50. > :07:54.can see from the map that rain pushing from west to east across

:07:55. > :07:58.Wales, turning patchy as it does so and staying mild with strong

:07:59. > :08:04.southerly winds introducing the warm air. Temperatures holding up between

:08:05. > :08:13.14 in Pembrokeshire and 18 in Conwy. Wins have reached up to 48 mph. The

:08:14. > :08:16.pressure chart shows this friend bringing the day's rain and another

:08:17. > :08:21.bringing rain overnight and into tomorrow. Tonight, the rain

:08:22. > :08:28.reinvigorates as it moves eastwards will stop an unusually mild night.

:08:29. > :08:34.Between 12-14 Celsius in towns and cities. It is a man to start

:08:35. > :08:43.tomorrow with patchy rain, easing as it slowly moves eastwards. Staying

:08:44. > :08:48.quite murky and cloudy for a while. Turning right through tomorrow and

:08:49. > :08:52.with temperatures again holding up between 14 in Gwynedd and 18

:08:53. > :08:57.Monmouthshire we keep those warm southerly winds. For tomorrow night,

:08:58. > :09:01.the patchy rain and drizzle should clear eastwards, turning grey,

:09:02. > :09:06.cloudy for a time, clear spells developing overnight lows of between

:09:07. > :09:08.eight and 12 Celsius assault on Wednesday with got this friend which

:09:09. > :09:21.goes back towards the east and south. For most of Wales it is fine

:09:22. > :09:24.and dry on Wednesday. West is best for sunshine. Flesh as the wind

:09:25. > :09:31.turns Westerly. Temperatures between 11 and 15 thousand. That is the case

:09:32. > :09:37.on Thursday as well. Quite muggy for the next few days. Improving as we

:09:38. > :09:42.head through Wednesday, looking try and write on Thursday, the brightest

:09:43. > :09:44.day of the week before sunshine and showers return into next weekend.

:09:45. > :09:47.That's all from Wales Today this lunchtime.
