:01:16. > :01:17.And it's not just a matter of inconvenience for

:01:18. > :01:25.We live remotely as it is so to live remotely without any services

:01:26. > :01:29.whatsoever as far as communication is concerned is really worrying.

:01:33. > :01:36.provided by AB Internet, which was available

:01:37. > :01:42.Last week, it went into administration.

:02:03. > :02:06.The Welsh and UK governments, along with Monmouthshire Council,

:02:07. > :02:09.say they are working to restore the service and to see how

:02:10. > :02:16.Two years ago, broadband in this part of Wales

:02:17. > :02:20.was deemed commercially unviable without connections.

:02:21. > :02:23.For now, Claire is left isolated and wondering when she can enjoy

:02:24. > :02:27.living here in the Welsh countryside and at the same time stay connected

:02:39. > :02:43.Richard Punchard allegedly placed a box with wires under a seat,

:02:44. > :02:46.two days after the terrorist attack in Manchester.

:02:47. > :02:49.Armed police and bomb squads attended the incident,

:03:09. > :03:12.to watch Juventus and Real Madrid a week tomorrow.

:03:13. > :03:15.Closing the roof had been suggested because of fears

:03:16. > :03:22.Concerns have been raised by the public services ombudsman

:03:23. > :03:24.for Wales about the number of complaints made against one

:03:25. > :03:28.health board and how the complaints were dealt with.

:03:29. > :03:32.Between April last year and this March, there were 194 complaints

:03:33. > :03:43.The Health Board says it takes all complaints seriously.

:03:44. > :03:45.The Welsh Liberal Democrats have warned that Welsh interests risk

:03:46. > :03:50.being hit by a Brexit sledgehammer, as they launch their manifesto.

:03:51. > :03:53.They're offering a second referendum on the final Brexit deal,

:03:54. > :03:56.with an option to stay in the European Union.

:03:57. > :03:59.Our Political Reporter, Bethan Lewis, is in Hay on Wye

:04:00. > :04:01.for us this lunchtime ahead of the formal launch.

:04:02. > :04:18.The Welsh Lib Dems will be coming to this pharmaceutical company to

:04:19. > :04:23.launch their manifesto. That pledge to have a second referendum on the

:04:24. > :04:26.content of the Brexit deal is central to what they are offering in

:04:27. > :04:31.Wales and across the UK. They say that her bed -- bad Brexit deal with

:04:32. > :04:35.Britain outside the single market could wreck the party. As part of it

:04:36. > :04:39.they would be an option for people to stay within the EU. That is

:04:40. > :04:43.applied to increase the powers of the assembly in areas such as

:04:44. > :04:48.policing and broadcasting and a penny on income tax would create an

:04:49. > :04:54.extra cash for the NHS. They would also crack ahead straightaway with

:04:55. > :04:59.the Swansea Bay tidal lagoon. But it could be another tough election for

:05:00. > :05:06.them. Yes, they've had a terrible run of results. Two years ago in the

:05:07. > :05:09.general election the last moment -- most of their MPs. In the assembly

:05:10. > :05:16.election last year only one Welsh Assembly Member. Earlier this month

:05:17. > :05:19.they wanted to use the local elections to rebuild but it didn't

:05:20. > :05:23.happen. They went backwards again. A terrible run of results and the big

:05:24. > :05:25.game in these elections will be to reverse that tied and show some

:05:26. > :05:27.progress. Rugby and the Scarlets

:05:28. > :05:29.are in Dublin, They play Munster tomorrow

:05:30. > :05:33.at the Aviva Stadium as they look The Scarlets have been playing

:05:34. > :05:38.with huge confidence this season and although they face tough

:05:39. > :05:40.opposition, the players say I think we've got to believe

:05:41. > :05:47.that we can win the competition now. We spoke a couple of weeks ago

:05:48. > :05:50.and said we're not just here A lot of people wrote us

:05:51. > :05:54.off before the game. All the Leinster fans,

:05:55. > :05:57.I think, were buying tickets

:05:58. > :05:58.for this weekend. We have to believe we can

:05:59. > :06:01.go all the way now. We need to produce the same

:06:02. > :06:08.performance again. We'll have a full weekend weather

:06:09. > :06:11.forecast in a few moments. But first, a round up of the

:06:12. > :06:15.week's news with Erika James. Wales paid tribute to the victims

:06:16. > :06:20.of the Manchester terror attack Town and city centres,

:06:21. > :06:28.as well as schools and workplaces, came to a standstill to remember

:06:29. > :06:32.the 22 people who died and the 64 who were injured

:06:33. > :06:36.when a bomb went off at the end of an

:06:37. > :06:41.Ariana Grande concert. Following the attack, there's been

:06:42. > :06:44.an increase in armed officers at key locations,

:06:45. > :06:47.including at Holyhead Port. South Wales Police said there

:06:48. > :06:51.wouldn't be a knee jerk reaction as they prepare for the

:06:52. > :06:55.Champions League final in Cardiff. A huge security operation will be

:06:56. > :06:58.in place for the 170,000 football fans who are expected to

:06:59. > :07:06.arrive in the capital next week. Vigils were also held

:07:07. > :07:09.across Wales to show solidarity The First Minister, Carwyn Jones,

:07:10. > :07:14.spoke at the Senedd and in Pontypridd flowers were laid

:07:15. > :07:18.and candles lit in the town centre. Around 150 people gathered

:07:19. > :07:30.in Swansea's Castle Square. Let's get the weather forecast now.

:07:31. > :07:41.Derek, another hot day? It sure is. The mini heatwave

:07:42. > :07:48.continues. The whole of Wales basking in sunshine. This picture

:07:49. > :07:52.was taken by Robin in Abergele. Temperatures are soaring. The

:07:53. > :08:01.current highest records recorded in May was back in 1989, just over 29

:08:02. > :08:04.Celsius in Carmarthenshire. That is a chance we could set a new record

:08:05. > :08:14.this afternoon the cost temperatures are rocketing upwards. Already 28

:08:15. > :08:18.Celsius in Porthmadog. Very warm if not hot and sunny this afternoon.

:08:19. > :08:28.Hardly a cloud in the sky. Temperatures soaring into the high

:08:29. > :08:33.20s. A south-easterly breeze. The senator is very strong with very

:08:34. > :08:42.high UV levels so don't forget the sun cream. This evening, fine, warm

:08:43. > :08:47.and sunny. Ideal for sitting out in the garden. A change after midnight.

:08:48. > :08:51.The first of showers and thunderstorms are spreading from the

:08:52. > :08:59.south. It is going to be warm and close tonight. A bit of a change for

:09:00. > :09:04.tomorrow. Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms will clear

:09:05. > :09:09.northwards, leaving many places dry in the afternoon. More cloud around

:09:10. > :09:13.compared to recently and the best of the sunshine in Monmouthshire.

:09:14. > :09:20.Temperatures not as higher today but still very warm in the north-east.

:09:21. > :09:26.Around 25 in Wrexham. Fresh air in the south-west. Tomorrow night is

:09:27. > :09:32.generally try and a cooler night for all of us. A more comfortable night

:09:33. > :09:38.sleeping. Not a bad day on Sunday with a mixture of cloud and

:09:39. > :09:40.sunshine. Overnight into bank holiday Monday low-pressure does

:09:41. > :09:44.bring a risk of some rain and showers which could be heavy and

:09:45. > :09:50.thundery in places. So a change on the way over the bank holiday

:09:51. > :09:51.weekend. Some showers that not a wash-out and turning fresher

:09:52. > :09:52.eventually. Lucy Owen will be here

:09:53. > :09:54.with Wales Today at 6.30pm. From me, Derek, Erika

:09:55. > :09:58.and all of us on the programme,
