:00:00. > :00:20.Plaid Cymru leader, Leanne Wood, says the UK would have to be

:00:21. > :00:23.prepared to accept some free movement of people, in order to stay

:00:24. > :00:27.In her speech to the party's autumn conference, she said she accepted

:00:28. > :00:29.the leave vote in Wales, but not a deal that would leave

:00:30. > :00:41.Our Political Editor, Nick Servini, reports from Llangollen.

:00:42. > :00:47.New infrastructure and a new relationship with the EU. That was

:00:48. > :00:51.the focus today when Leanne Wood visited the site of a new science

:00:52. > :00:57.block at a college near Wrexham. In her speech in Llangollen, she called

:00:58. > :01:01.on Theresa May to listen to views from Wells, saying that while the

:01:02. > :01:04.bargaining position was not as strong as the Scots, Welsh people

:01:05. > :01:12.still deserved to have a say on Brexit. Her priority was clear,

:01:13. > :01:16.protect the economy rather than control of borders. And she repeated

:01:17. > :01:20.her claim that the so-called hard Brexit position favoured by the

:01:21. > :01:26.Prime Minister was not the best option for Wales. Plaid Cymru accept

:01:27. > :01:31.the referendum result. We might not have wanted this outcome but we have

:01:32. > :01:35.to try and secure the best possible deal for Wales. But what we will

:01:36. > :01:47.never accept is a negotiated deal which sees Wales worse off. This

:01:48. > :01:53.weekend, Plaid has the luxury of being in Europe, its challenge is to

:01:54. > :01:56.reconcile its support for soft Brexit, in which there could be

:01:57. > :02:02.limited controls on immigration, with the wishes of so many people in

:02:03. > :02:06.Wales converted to leave. Meanwhile, the debate continues over what kind

:02:07. > :02:09.of relationship Plaid should have with Labour at the assembly. The

:02:10. > :02:16.biggest cheer of Leanne Wood's speech came when she said she was

:02:17. > :02:19.not seeking a coalition. Conference, we are not seeking a coalition with

:02:20. > :02:28.the Labour Party. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE The party is

:02:29. > :02:30.now in opposition but has struck a deal with Labour over the budget

:02:31. > :02:35.this week. Assembly Member Neil McEvoy made the

:02:36. > :02:39.most high-profile call against this, saying that Plaid should have

:02:40. > :02:44.nothing to do with Labour. The simple truth is that what is right

:02:45. > :02:54.for Wales is ending Labour rule. APPLAUSE You need to spend the next

:02:55. > :02:56.4.5 years grinding them down, challenging them, at every

:02:57. > :03:00.opportunity. This conference has been slightly

:03:01. > :03:06.low-key, in keeping with the uncertainty surrounding Brexit. That

:03:07. > :03:15.will have a major impact on where Plaid positions itself in future.

:03:16. > :03:18.The Severn Tunnel has re-opened after closing for six weeks for rail

:03:19. > :03:22.It was SHUT on the 12th of September for a ?10 million upgrade to prepare

:03:23. > :03:26.The work was part of the wider scheme to electrify the main-line

:03:27. > :03:28.from London to South Wales - and included installing

:03:29. > :03:32.Swansea City's American owners have apologised to the club's Supporters'

:03:33. > :03:35.Trust for failing to inform it of their final decision to appoint

:03:36. > :03:39.Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan bought a controlling 68% stake

:03:40. > :03:43.In today's home-game match programme they say not informing

:03:44. > :03:44.the Trust's representative sooner 'was an error'

:03:45. > :03:53.for which they 'take full responsibility.'

:03:54. > :03:57.Well, the Swans welcomed Watford to the Liberty Stadium this afternoon -

:03:58. > :04:00.they're yet to win at home this season after a 0-0 draw.

:04:01. > :04:03.In League 2 Newport County are also without a home win having lost 3-1

:04:04. > :04:07.A better afternoon for Wrexham in the National League beating

:04:08. > :04:11.And Cardiff City's away match against Nottingham Forest

:04:12. > :04:19.No score yet though at the City Ground.

:04:20. > :04:22.Rugby - and in the Challenge Cup, Newport Gwent Dragons lost away

:04:23. > :04:25.against Russian side, Enisei, earlier -

:04:26. > :04:32.The Ospreys will face Lyon at 7:45pm.

:04:33. > :04:46.With ten minutes played, no score there yet either.

:04:47. > :04:48.Let's take a look at the weather forecast -

:04:49. > :04:51.there could be the odd shower later - but it will become dry and chilly

:04:52. > :04:55.Tomorrow, any fog will be slow to lift, however bright

:04:56. > :04:57.or sunny spells will develop in the afternoon -

:04:58. > :05:04.That's all from us for today - our next update is at 6:05pm tomorrow.
