:00:18. > :00:21.Research by Cardiff University found that over 18% of 11 to 16 years olds

:00:22. > :00:26.The findings are "disappointing", says the Welsh Government.

:00:27. > :00:38.So, this is quite a common form of e-cigarette these days.

:00:39. > :00:40.And increasingly, e-cigarettes in general are becoming more common.

:00:41. > :00:43.Good news for this e-cig company in Swansea, who operate

:00:44. > :00:49.We have a Challenge 25 policy, where we train our staff

:00:50. > :00:52.to challenge anyone who looks under 25 and to ensure we are not

:00:53. > :01:01.We don't want to be selling to youths.

:01:02. > :01:06.But according to research by Cardiff University,

:01:07. > :01:10.more and more young people are experimenting with e-cigarettes.

:01:11. > :01:13.A survey of more than 32,000 children aged between 11 and 16

:01:14. > :01:16.showed that students were nearly twice as likely to have used

:01:17. > :01:22.e-cigarettes as compared to smoking tobacco.

:01:23. > :01:24.2.7% of those that took part said they used

:01:25. > :01:30.The Welsh Government had intended to ban the use of e-cigarettes

:01:31. > :01:35.That proposal failed and the plans have now been shelved,

:01:36. > :01:40.but responding to this research, the Government said

:01:41. > :01:41.it's disappointing to see experimentation with e-cigarettes

:01:42. > :01:47.In a bid to stop e-cigarettes from appealing to children,

:01:48. > :01:49.health officials have already called for a ban on the sale

:01:50. > :01:53.of confectionery-like flavours for the devices.

:01:54. > :01:56.Irrespective of what we feel about e-cigarettes and their possible

:01:57. > :02:00.relationship to smoking, or in fact other drug use,

:02:01. > :02:03.it's actually not a good thing in and of itself.

:02:04. > :02:05.And large numbers of young people using e-cigarettes

:02:06. > :02:08.on a regular basis, we think, is something we should

:02:09. > :02:11.It's a potential public health issue for an industry

:02:12. > :02:18.Former Labour leader Lord Kinnock has criticised Jeremy Corbyn's
