:01:47. > :01:49.on Welsh social care, so, you know, even if the whole

:01:50. > :01:54.50 million goes in from the Welsh government, it still doesn't meet

:01:55. > :02:02.I think there is potential for us to marry here economic development

:02:03. > :02:05.with the care service, in the sense that we could be

:02:06. > :02:07.starting to build homes, for example, that are adequate

:02:08. > :02:12.for a longer term future for housing older people.

:02:13. > :02:14.That is something where we could build an economic

:02:15. > :02:19.I think that is something we can start to be creative with.

:02:20. > :02:23.Providing care at home is the main theme of a plan published this week

:02:24. > :02:25.by a new organisation, Social Care Wales.

:02:26. > :02:29.It launches officially next month and takes over from the Care Council

:02:30. > :02:38.They are very complex issues and a growing situation.

:02:39. > :02:41.But I'm confident that we have here in Wales the tools now to get

:02:42. > :02:44.to grips with the challenges that we have got.

:02:45. > :02:46.The Welsh government will have to balance competing demands

:02:47. > :02:50.on the extra cash from the budget, but whatever the decision,

:02:51. > :02:56.it's certain more money won't provide all the answers.
