:00:18. > :00:23.He was addressing the Welsh Labour conference in Llandudno -

:00:24. > :00:25.which also heard from the First Minister.

:00:26. > :00:28.Carwyn Jones announced the Welsh government would scrap

:00:29. > :00:30.burial fees for children - and provide an extra

:00:31. > :00:40.Here's our political correspondent, Daniel Davies.

:00:41. > :00:49.You keep seeing and hearing it around this conference, the call for

:00:50. > :00:53.unity. Unity has been in short supply between Jeremy Corbyn

:00:54. > :00:58.supporters and opponents. When he got here today, late thanks to a

:00:59. > :01:04.delayed train, he asked all concerned to bury the hatchet.

:01:05. > :01:08.United we stand, divided we fall and united I believe this great party

:01:09. > :01:14.can do things together to achieve for the people that need Labour

:01:15. > :01:20.councils and above all need a Labour government and a society based on

:01:21. > :01:24.social justice and equality. He also said the UK Government should borrow

:01:25. > :01:28.more money to fund new infrastructure. As any homeowner who

:01:29. > :01:32.has had a mortgage knows, taking on a huge debt can save you money in

:01:33. > :01:38.the long run. We should not be afraid of debt or borrowing.

:01:39. > :01:44.Fairness was the theme with policies to help people in work and bereaved

:01:45. > :01:50.parents. More funding for social care, no more child bury these, a

:01:51. > :01:56.better deal for commuters and fair deal at work. That is the sort of

:01:57. > :01:59.Wales we were elected to deliver. Despite occasional differences of

:02:00. > :02:05.opinion Welsh Labour has avoided the bitter rows seen in Westminster.

:02:06. > :02:11.Carwyn Jones tried to remind members of the warm glow they felt after the

:02:12. > :02:15.97 general election victory which swept Tony Blair into office. The

:02:16. > :02:18.message that if they want to relive those highs they need to respond to

:02:19. > :02:22.what voters want, not fight amongst themselves.

:02:23. > :02:24.A man has been arrested on suspicion of

:02:25. > :02:27.causing death by dangerous driving, after a car hit a traffic light,

:02:28. > :02:31.It happened in the Gorseinon area of Swansea yesterday.

:02:32. > :02:40.It's been revealed that one of Wales' most wanted

:02:41. > :02:42.criminals was caught - after he was spotted by BBC cameras

:02:43. > :02:47.Terrence Earle was on the run in Amsterdam in 2015 -

:02:48. > :02:50.after he and his brother, Michael, tried to smuggle

:02:51. > :02:58.half a million pounds worth of drugs into south Wales.

:02:59. > :03:00.Football and Wales' players say they CAN still qualify

:03:01. > :03:02.for the World Cup - despite drawing against

:03:03. > :03:07.Neil Taylor was said to be "distraught" after breaking

:03:08. > :03:10.Seamus Coleman's right leg - he'll miss the game against group

:03:11. > :03:12.leaders Serbia in June, along with Gareth Bale,

:03:13. > :03:27.There is plenty to ponder after a disappointing night in Dublin. I

:03:28. > :03:30.thought we had to win the game last night because then you are allowed a

:03:31. > :03:35.couple of mistakes between now and the end of the campaign. But I think

:03:36. > :03:38.we have to go to Serbia now and win. But they will have to do it without

:03:39. > :03:44.Gareth Bale who is suspended after being booked for a second time in

:03:45. > :03:49.this campaign. You cannot directly replace him because of who yes but

:03:50. > :03:53.if you're going to get a World Cup there are times you had to come

:03:54. > :03:58.through certain situations. Neil Taylor will not be there either,

:03:59. > :04:01.sent off after breaking a leg of Seamus Coleman. The Republic of

:04:02. > :04:07.Ireland captain was given oxygen on the pitch before going to hospital.

:04:08. > :04:16.Are with him, and of course Neil Taylor is devastated himself. He's

:04:17. > :04:19.not that type of player. It was Wales force considered a draw, not

:04:20. > :04:22.the form of a team going to the World Cup. -- fourth consecutive

:04:52. > :04:54.with a touch of frost for some. Tomorrow will be another dry and

:04:55. > :04:57.warm day, with plenty of sunshine. I'll have our next update
