:00:58. > :01:02.on Thursday, has become a Welsh Conservative AM when he's
:01:03. > :01:09.There is still too much bad feeling within Tory ranks for that to happen
:01:10. > :01:13.because of his high-profile defection from being a Conservative
:01:14. > :01:21.This has led Nick Ramsay to question the status of the group if it's not
:01:22. > :01:28.entirely made up of card-carrying Tory members.
:01:29. > :01:31.I was elected as a Welsh Conservative and I sit
:01:32. > :01:35.Now, today, I am faced with a situation that I'm not
:01:36. > :01:40.I believe I'm still a Welsh Conservative but I want to be told
:01:41. > :01:43.you are able to go into that next Assembly election as a Conservative
:01:44. > :01:45.and campaign on a policy agenda set that
:01:46. > :01:54.It's quite clear that we now have a group that will not
:01:55. > :01:58.The Conservative rule book says you cannot become an AM
:01:59. > :02:01.Some say those rules would have had to be suspended
:02:02. > :02:06.Not so says Andrew RT Davies who insists the decision
:02:07. > :02:10.There's been nothing from Mr Davies today.
:02:11. > :02:12.His supporters, though, have questioned why Nick Ramsay
:02:13. > :02:18.failed to voice his concerns when he had the chance to do so.
:02:19. > :02:21.This story has involved a mix of delving into the party rule book
:02:22. > :02:23.and old-fashioned Tory tribal antagonism towards Mark Reckless.
