:00:10. > :00:14.The weather tomorrow has the potential to impact on travel or

:00:14. > :00:17.outdoor plants you might have, but for the time being it is quiet out

:00:17. > :00:20.there. A lot of dry weather and partly clear skies, some rain

:00:20. > :00:24.developing in the English Channel will be mostly hold on to the dry

:00:25. > :00:27.conditions with mist and fog and the skies are clearest in northern

:00:27. > :00:31.England, Scotland and Northern Ireland and it will be a chilly

:00:31. > :00:34.night for August. But after the dry and bright start to tomorrow there

:00:34. > :00:38.is the potential for some of you to see it turn significantly wet as

:00:38. > :00:42.the day goes on. Initially the wettest conditions will be confined

:00:42. > :00:46.to the south-west and around Dorset and Hampshire. Some of the rain in

:00:46. > :00:49.the morning extending as far north as the South Midlands. Much of the

:00:49. > :00:53.south-east and East Anglia dry with hazy sunshine and a brighter

:00:53. > :00:56.picture to begin with for the Midlands and further north. But

:00:56. > :01:00.already parts of north-east England and central and eastern Scotland

:01:00. > :01:04.will see the clouds building and after a reasonably bright start one

:01:04. > :01:06.or two showers will develop. South West Scotland should be largely

:01:06. > :01:10.clear and a good start with Northern Ireland with sunny spells

:01:10. > :01:14.and only the odd shower through the day. Most of you will stay dry. The

:01:14. > :01:18.son will be out across much of Wales with a cold start but already

:01:18. > :01:21.Cardiff and Newport could see itch few spots of rain but you might be

:01:21. > :01:25.clear what will be significant heavy rain spreading from the

:01:25. > :01:28.south-west, through the Midlands and London and across to Norfolk

:01:28. > :01:32.and Lincolnshire. North of that, the cloud will build and the

:01:32. > :01:37.showers will be heavier and to the south-east, we can get 22 degrees

:01:37. > :01:40.in Sussex and Kent with some sunshine. But this is for the

:01:40. > :01:44.evening rush-hour. If your travel plans involve heading to the north

:01:44. > :01:48.and west of London they could be surface water on the road, heavy

:01:48. > :01:51.and persistent rain for four or five hours will be put in place and

:01:51. > :01:54.across parts of north-east England and eastern and central Scotland

:01:54. > :01:57.there will be clusters of thunderstorms which will not

:01:57. > :02:01.blossom until the end of the afternoon and evening. These will

:02:01. > :02:05.be slow-moving nature lasting into Thursday night and the potential

:02:05. > :02:09.for one or two spots of minor flooding. But it will ease away

:02:09. > :02:12.into Friday morning with a ridge of high pressure building and Mein --

:02:12. > :02:15.most of us will be back to dry weather with hazy sunshine as the

:02:15. > :02:18.cloud built in the West. Temperatures in the low twenties

:02:18. > :02:22.the late from a cloud will thicken for Scotland and Northern Ireland
