:00:32. > :00:35.The scattering of showers here will turn wintry particularly over the

:00:35. > :00:40.hills. Even though we'll see clear skies, mild conditions further

:00:40. > :00:43.south - 8-10 Celsius possible. Where those clearer conditions

:00:43. > :00:46.develop further north, temperatures close to freezing. There will be a

:00:46. > :00:50.risk of ice to start the morning, particularly in Scotland. The

:00:50. > :00:53.showers ease. We'll start with dry, fairly bright weather for the

:00:53. > :00:58.morning rush hour. That's the best part of the morning before it goes

:00:58. > :01:01.downhill during afternoon. Northern Ireland will see morning brighters,

:01:01. > :01:04.but some scattered showers first thing. Some of those across

:01:04. > :01:08.Northern England, but some breaks in the cloud. In East Anglia,

:01:08. > :01:13.Southern England and much of Wales, which like this morning, starts

:01:13. > :01:16.grey and misty over the hills. The rain will be that little bit

:01:16. > :01:20.heavier than this morning. It will clear on Thursday, particularly

:01:20. > :01:24.during the morning. By lunch, it will start to brighten up, with

:01:24. > :01:28.sunny spells and dry weather for the afternoon. But Northern England,

:01:29. > :01:34.Scotland and Northern Ireland, bands push in from west to east. As

:01:34. > :01:39.the cold air digs in, we'll see them turning to snow. Modest hills

:01:39. > :01:44.in Scotland will see a good covering. It will be 5-6 Celsius

:01:44. > :01:47.with that blustery wind. We'll see flurries in the north to take us

:01:47. > :01:51.into Thursday night. Dry and clear again tomorrow night across

:01:51. > :01:55.southern areas. That'll last into Friday morning, but not too long

:01:55. > :02:00.because thickening cloud will spread across the country.

:02:00. > :02:04.Outbreaks of rain working north and eastwards taking away the sunshine

:02:05. > :02:07.in the north-east. The south-east will stay dry - 11-

:02:07. > :02:12.12 Celsius possible. Into Saturday and the weekend, the wintry weather

:02:12. > :02:15.will return. But no-where as wintry as we have

:02:15. > :02:19.in the north-eastern United States at the moment. Some of you are

:02:19. > :02:23.dreaming of snow. Take Seattle - today alone likely to see close to
