:00:09. > :00:12.Good evening. The weather has been pretty kind if you were lucky

:00:12. > :00:17.enough to be visited by Aura borealis tonight. But the clear

:00:17. > :00:21.skies have meant it has turned pretty chilly, and it will be told

:00:21. > :00:25.tomorrow morning. With the wet weather, it makes for an ugly

:00:25. > :00:33.combination. And there will be snow around. Clear skies have led to

:00:33. > :00:37.temperatures falling. The rain is already falling in Northern Ireland.

:00:37. > :00:43.Central and eastern areas are dipping below zero. With the cold

:00:43. > :00:46.air here, as the wet weather arrives, we will see snow in parts

:00:46. > :00:51.of Scotland and northern England. It will mostly be over the hills,

:00:51. > :00:54.but there could be some at lower levels for a time. As the wet

:00:54. > :00:59.weather moves across the Grampians, there will be snow in the morning.

:00:59. > :01:03.It is a miserable rush-hour in the central belt of Scotland. Across

:01:03. > :01:07.northern England, quite a bit of snow over the hills. The Trans

:01:07. > :01:13.Pennine routes will not be pleasant. Even at lower levels, they could be

:01:13. > :01:17.a bit of snow around, maybe even as far south as the East Midlands.

:01:17. > :01:21.Without the snow, it will be cold and wet. Looks pretty bleak across

:01:21. > :01:27.the Midlands. The more persistent rain may have eased from the south-

:01:27. > :01:31.west of England, but it will be a dull and dank start here. It will

:01:31. > :01:35.be grey and white across much of Wales and Northern Ireland.

:01:35. > :01:40.Temperatures in the West are well above freezing, so no snow here. We

:01:40. > :01:45.might see more snow across north- east England and parts of eastern

:01:45. > :01:49.Scotland through the morning. Perhaps even for a time across

:01:49. > :01:54.Lincolnshire and East Anglia, but it is not expected to last.

:01:54. > :01:57.Temperatures will really struggle in the east. A cold, dank day. In

:01:57. > :02:04.the West, it will be dull, but temperatures here may reach double

:02:05. > :02:12.figures. We will all be milder by Wednesday. But we have a lot of

:02:12. > :02:19.isobars on the chart, so the winds will pick up during Wednesday.

:02:19. > :02:22.Another dull day for most places. But we have that milder air, so the
