0:00:01 > 0:00:08A today was a bleak midwinter is day. Tomorrow, I can't offer much

0:00:08 > 0:00:13more than the way of brightness, but in eastern areas, milder. In

0:00:13 > 0:00:19the West, it did eventually turn milder today, hitting 13 degrees

0:00:19 > 0:00:24Celsius, and that is because of warm front moved through. This

0:00:24 > 0:00:28milder air is now spreading its way across eastern areas, so for quite

0:00:28 > 0:00:32a few places temperatures will rise through the night. This weather

0:00:32 > 0:00:42front is also providing a lot of cloud and further outbreaks of rain.

0:00:42 > 0:00:49No hint of a frost, with the milder air moving across the country. It

0:00:49 > 0:00:53does mean there is a lot of cloud and little chance of seeing the

0:00:53 > 0:00:58Northern Lights. In eastern areas it will be a good deal milder

0:00:58 > 0:01:02tomorrow, temperatures noticeably higher, but in the West the breeze

0:01:13 > 0:01:17Scotland, where there will be a outbreaks of rain. Much of south-

0:01:17 > 0:01:22west England will be grey, are bricks of rain and drizzle and the

0:01:22 > 0:01:26increasing wind. The same goes for western parts of Wales. Drizzle for

0:01:27 > 0:01:31the Midlands and eastern England, but noticeably temperatures are

0:01:31 > 0:01:39much higher. Across western Scotland, in Northern Ireland, it

0:01:39 > 0:01:43is looking wet and windy. Wind of up to 60 mph, that is from this

0:01:43 > 0:01:50weather front - a cold front which sweeps across the country tomorrow

0:01:50 > 0:01:54night. We will get a spell of rain, and the cold front reintroduces the

0:01:54 > 0:02:00cold air, so tomorrow night there will be a frost returning over

0:02:00 > 0:02:04northern Britain. There could well be some snow showers around,

0:02:04 > 0:02:07perhaps affecting Northern Ireland on Thursday morning. Through the
