:00:10. > :00:15.Good evening. As far as the weather is concerned our Valentine's day

:00:16. > :00:19.companion has been an area of high pressure. It's kept us a little bit

:00:19. > :00:21.at arm's length and that's meant winds have been pushing northwards,

:00:21. > :00:25.bringing mild air to the north of Scotland and working southwards,

:00:25. > :00:28.but in that same flow around the fringes of the high pressure system

:00:28. > :00:32.some strong winds and you can see from the satellite picture plenty

:00:32. > :00:35.of cloud. With little changing into tomorrow there's not going to be a

:00:35. > :00:38.huge amount in change and conditions, staying cloudy and

:00:38. > :00:41.breezy as well. Some of the windiest conditions will be

:00:41. > :00:44.overnight, particularly north and east of Scotland and parts of

:00:44. > :00:47.eastern England, gusts up to gale force in one or two spots. Drizzle

:00:47. > :00:51.around the coasts as well, in particular. For many inland it will

:00:51. > :00:55.be dry, and with a breeze and cloud frost-free night for the vast

:00:55. > :00:59.majority. Could be a grey start to the

:00:59. > :01:02.morning rush hour for a few across parts of western Wales, Devon and

:01:02. > :01:07.Cornwall, cloud here thick enough for light rain or drizzle, as it

:01:07. > :01:11.will be throughout the day. Same too to the far east of England.

:01:11. > :01:15.Inland Inland plenty of cloud. Maybe drizzle to the coast of

:01:15. > :01:17.north-west England. But into south- east Scotland hazy sunshine

:01:17. > :01:20.possible. Brightness maybe for the south-east of Northern Ireland, as

:01:20. > :01:24.well. But to the north of Northern Ireland and northern parts of

:01:24. > :01:28.Scotland we stick with a cloudy picture. Rain or drizzle throughout

:01:28. > :01:31.the day, as we could see across the western fringes of Wales and

:01:31. > :01:34.Cornwall. Later it turns damper across the eastern counties of

:01:34. > :01:38.England. But inland the vast majority you stay dry, brightening

:01:38. > :01:44.up into the afternoon. Brightest in north-east Scotland and south-east

:01:44. > :01:47.Scotland. Into Thursday, another mild night

:01:47. > :01:50.with plenty of cloud, a bit of a breeze. On Thursday we see a

:01:50. > :01:54.weather front push into Scotland and Northern Ireland bringing more

:01:54. > :01:57.rain. Heaviest in the west. That pushes into northern England later

:01:57. > :02:00.allowing brighter skies to end the afternoon. Something bright across

:02:00. > :02:05.southern parts of England and Wales for a time. But here it will be

:02:05. > :02:09.much cloudier on Friday because that weather front will be moving

:02:09. > :02:13.southwards, heavy rain working across it. Some of the wettest

:02:13. > :02:17.conditions will be in the west. Brightening up to Scotland and

:02:17. > :02:20.Northern Ireland later. Showers packing in, but temperatures six or

:02:20. > :02:23.seven, a sign of what's to come during the weekend. We have colder
