:00:15. > :00:20.Meteorology is an inexact science. Some places have stayed cloudier

:00:20. > :00:25.than expected. Other places have been sunnier than expected. It has

:00:25. > :00:29.made all the difference to the field of the weather. Temperatures

:00:29. > :00:36.have cruised along in the mid-teens. By contrast, other places have

:00:36. > :00:42.turned very cloudy indeed. As a contrast, it has felt quite wintry.

:00:42. > :00:46.Today started off with a lot of cloud. The cloud was wafer-thin. It

:00:47. > :00:55.was difficult to predict where the brakes would occur. Halfway through

:00:55. > :01:05.the day, the brakes did occur. Whether cloud persisted it was much

:01:05. > :01:06.

:01:06. > :01:09.cooler. Overnight tonight, there will be fog in places. In the north

:01:09. > :01:13.and west it will be milder with dampness across the West of

:01:13. > :01:19.Scotland which will continue on and off through the day. For most of us,

:01:19. > :01:24.it is a dry start. The fog will take a while to lift. When it does

:01:24. > :01:28.do, lots of sunshine to look forward to. Across central and

:01:28. > :01:35.eastern parts of Wales and up into Scotland. The further north and

:01:35. > :01:42.west we go, it looks like staying cloudier. More contrasts to come

:01:42. > :01:50.through tomorrow. Western areas will stay cloudy. Not so warm here.

:01:50. > :01:52.Further east, potentially, we could get as high as 17 or 18 degrees.

:01:53. > :01:57.Central and eastern England and eastern Scotland will be doing

:01:57. > :02:05.pretty well. For the West of Scotland, the Western Highlands and

:02:05. > :02:10.Islands, there are some outbreaks setting in. This weather front

:02:10. > :02:17.starts to push in from the West on Friday. It is disorganised and
