:00:09. > :00:13.From me, I wish you a very good Good evening. You can wait an age

:00:13. > :00:18.for a March temperature record to get broken, then three come along

:00:18. > :00:25.all at once. For the third day in a row we have broken the Scottish

:00:25. > :00:29.temperature record for March. Aboyne, 23.6 degrees Celsius.

:00:29. > :00:34.Remarkable. This is also quite remarkable. The satellite picture

:00:34. > :00:39.taken this afternoon, not a cloud in the sky. The cloud across

:00:39. > :00:43.Shetland melted away through the afternoon. More cloud towards the

:00:43. > :00:48.western isles tonight. Clear skies allowing temperatures to drop

:00:48. > :00:52.sharply. It is still March. Two or three in some towns and cities, in

:00:52. > :00:56.rural areas minus two or three. It will be chilly in the morning.

:00:56. > :01:01.There will be mist and fog around, the sunshine will disperse that. It

:01:01. > :01:06.will be another sunny day. The major change across the far north

:01:06. > :01:13.of Scotland where we will see more cloud. Blue skies and rising

:01:13. > :01:19.temperatures. After a chilly start we will peak in the 20's. 20, 21

:01:19. > :01:25.across South West England and Wales. We could hit 23 possibly 24 degrees.

:01:25. > :01:28.21 is 70 degrees Fahrenheit. In Belfast we may reach 19. In

:01:28. > :01:34.southern parts of Northern Ireland we might get close to the March

:01:34. > :01:37.record here which stands at 21 Celsius. Cooler feel across the far

:01:37. > :01:41.north of Scotland, more breeze and more cloud. That is a sign of

:01:41. > :01:44.things to come. Cloud will spill south on Thursday across western

:01:44. > :01:48.Scotland into Northern Ireland, perhaps into parts of north west

:01:48. > :01:54.England and north Wales. Temperatures will be lower, still

:01:54. > :01:58.well above average. In the south we could again exceed 20 degrees after

:01:58. > :02:04.a chilly start. The fine and settled weather is because of high

:02:04. > :02:07.pressure. A shift in this high, as it drifts out into the Atlantic,

:02:07. > :02:12.will allow the winds to come in from the north west. The

:02:12. > :02:16.temperatures will start to decline. For the next couple of days we

:02:16. > :02:23.could exceed 20 degrees. Friday and the weekend the temperature curve
