:00:10. > :00:13.That is it for tonight. From all of Good evening. Most of us are

:00:13. > :00:17.settling into a dry and quiet night, but believe me, it has been a day

:00:17. > :00:23.of high drama weather-wise. This was the scene earlier on, a Winter

:00:23. > :00:27.Wonderland, seemingly, in Hampshire, but this is Hale, not snow. There

:00:27. > :00:32.was a torrential snow -- storm, bringing that covering. There were

:00:32. > :00:35.others scattered across the UK. Some places had sunshine all day

:00:35. > :00:39.long, part of the south-west of England did particularly well and

:00:39. > :00:44.my head, some fluffy cloud but some blue-sky and sunshine, with a

:00:44. > :00:48.similar mixture over the next 24-48 hours. Most of the showers are

:00:48. > :00:51.dying away and it will be a fine and chilly but for most of the UK,

:00:51. > :00:55.temperatures like last night falling away quite quickly and we

:00:55. > :00:59.could see a touch of frost in the suburbs and did more rural areas.

:00:59. > :01:04.Close to freezing with one or two mist patches around. A chilly start

:01:04. > :01:09.to Thursday. Brighton so it for many but already be on show were

:01:09. > :01:15.knocking around -- bright start. Fairly randomly distributed, the

:01:15. > :01:18.showers, but they are a small scale factors that determine whether

:01:18. > :01:24.sunshine and the share was four. Central and eastern parts will see

:01:24. > :01:28.some heavy downpours once again. Torrential storms in there as well.

:01:28. > :01:32.Temperatures at best, 12 or 13, but when the showers, long, they will

:01:32. > :01:35.fall by several degrees. The south- west of England best they could

:01:35. > :01:42.again to stay mostly dry with plenty of sunshine through the

:01:42. > :01:46.afternoon. -- best placed again. Northern Ireland probably getting

:01:46. > :01:50.away with a largely sunny day. Not to warm, nine or 10 degrees with a

:01:50. > :01:54.breeze coming down from the north and recalled being attended the

:01:54. > :01:59.Scotland with a scattering of showers and a breezy day -- a call

:01:59. > :02:01.ending. Tomorrow night, we could see some wintry showers developing

:02:01. > :02:05.on that northerly breeze, temperatures down to low levels by

:02:05. > :02:09.the time we reach Friday morning with the cold weather spreading

:02:09. > :02:13.down to northern parts of Britain. Further south, not as cold but

:02:13. > :02:17.again, some heavy showers developing. If you're lucky, it

:02:17. > :02:22.will stay dry and bright. It is the cold air that will engulf the UK,
