:00:11. > :00:15.Good evening. It is going to be a little bit drier over the next few

:00:15. > :00:19.days but it is not going to be any warmer. Temperatures today really

:00:19. > :00:24.struggled under this thick blanket of cloud -- cloud across England

:00:24. > :00:28.and the posts. There was some sunshine. In western Scotland, 21

:00:28. > :00:34.degrees of the us. Elsewhere, single figures. These values will

:00:34. > :00:37.be more typical in the days to come. In western Scotland this band of

:00:37. > :00:40.rain sinks south, a weather front introducing cold air. Under the

:00:40. > :00:44.cloud we have outbreaks of rain tonight across the Midlands and

:00:44. > :00:50.Lincolnshire. The temperature tonight generally seven or eight

:00:50. > :00:54.Celsius but it is going to get colder. It is not going to get much

:00:54. > :00:56.brighter for Friday. A great day. Some sunny spells, perhaps along

:00:56. > :01:01.the south coast of Wales and southernmost counties of England

:01:01. > :01:04.but generally across the Midlands and East Anglia, a dull, cold and

:01:04. > :01:09.damp picture. Some drier conditions for a time across northern England

:01:09. > :01:12.but the band of rain sinks south into Northern Ireland. Brighter

:01:12. > :01:16.skies across the far north but you will notice northerly winds

:01:16. > :01:19.bringing a real chill and introducing much colder air, cold

:01:19. > :01:23.enough for snow showers at relatively low levels across north-

:01:23. > :01:28.east Scotland in the afternoon. The rain bands are chased southwards,

:01:28. > :01:31.they tend to fragment. It is not particularly wet but it will be

:01:31. > :01:36.great, a little bit of rain here and there. We may see temperatures

:01:36. > :01:41.creeping into the teens but generally another cold day, eight,

:01:41. > :01:45.nine, ten Celsius at best. The air is coming from the Arctic. You can

:01:45. > :01:47.follow the isobars to the north. This weather front and a parcel of

:01:48. > :01:52.this amount on Sunday it could provide up bricks of rain

:01:52. > :01:55.especially on the south coast for a while. Another weather system

:01:55. > :01:59.bringing wet weather across Scotland, bringing some snow.

:01:59. > :02:03.Generally is -- Saturday is dry and bright, some sunny spells and a

:02:03. > :02:08.touch of frost, temperatures reaching double figures. The frost

:02:08. > :02:12.expands further on Saturday night. It could be as low as minus five

:02:12. > :02:17.Celsius across northern England. Unusually cold start. A few showers

:02:17. > :02:21.but many places looking drier, some cloud and sunny spells but

:02:21. > :02:25.temperatures quite disappointing for the first weekend in May,
