:00:09. > :00:13.Good evening. The heat and humidity may be on its way out but today

:00:13. > :00:19.it's combined to produce some storms. O isolated they were.

:00:19. > :00:22.That's demonstrated in this picture. Sunshine, but towering thunder

:00:22. > :00:27.clouds looming in the distance. That was the ground view of what I

:00:27. > :00:33.have circled here. Storms from Kent to the East Midlands, dropping up

:00:33. > :00:36.to an inch of rain in a short space of time. Most have eased. Then,

:00:36. > :00:39.attention turns to the north-east. The cloud in Scotland has actually

:00:39. > :00:43.brought cooler conditions today and that and the cloud will spread

:00:43. > :00:47.across other parts of Scotland and eastern coasts of England tonight.

:00:47. > :00:52.Patchy mist and fog around western coasts and hills. But for many it's

:00:52. > :00:58.a dry night with clear skies. A humid night in the south-east. Much

:00:58. > :01:01.cooler further north. A lot more cloud to begin Tuesday.

:01:01. > :01:04.Best of the brightness in the west. Cloud thick enough towards eastern

:01:04. > :01:08.coasts for drizzle. Sunny start in Northern Ireland with temperatures

:01:08. > :01:12.again in the mid-teens and more cloud in north-west England, still

:01:12. > :01:17.bright spells here but greyer skies to the east of the Pennines. Much

:01:17. > :01:22.of central and southern England and Wales, another sunny and warm start

:01:22. > :01:26.to the day. A greater risk of mist and sea fog patches around the

:01:26. > :01:30.south-west and Wales. And gradually across much of central Scotland

:01:30. > :01:34.skies will brighten, as it will do away from the Coes in eastern

:01:34. > :01:36.England. Sunny spells for many to take us to the afternoon. A few

:01:36. > :01:42.isolated showers are possible and across the Midlands and the south-

:01:42. > :01:46.east these could be thundery as temperatures climb as high as 21.

:01:46. > :01:50.Cooler across eastern coasts. Wednesday, we start off bright

:01:50. > :01:57.across southern and eastern areas but more showers during the day. A

:01:57. > :02:03.few of you will stay completely dry. Some of the showers will be slow-

:02:03. > :02:06.moving. With light winds it will feel warm again, particularly

:02:06. > :02:09.across Northern Ireland. Brighter conditions across northern skhrpb

:02:09. > :02:12.and -- Scotland and temperatures will drop further on Thursday. A

:02:12. > :02:17.focus for showers across England and Wales and that's tied in with
