:00:13. > :00:19.Good evening. If you went to the test match today, bad luck. It was

:00:19. > :00:23.a washout. And if you are going tomorrow, good luck. The weather is

:00:23. > :00:27.diabolical, isn't it? We have all had wet weather during the course

:00:27. > :00:31.of the day, pumping up from the South, torrential downpours. They

:00:31. > :00:37.are indicated by the bright colours, and then the winds started to kick

:00:37. > :00:40.in. The weather in the South West has caused disruption. Because it

:00:40. > :00:45.is unusual at this time of year, that has prompted severe weather

:00:45. > :00:50.warnings. There is a yellow warning in force covering much of England

:00:50. > :00:55.and South Wales now. Gusts of up to 50 or 60 mph at coastal areas

:00:55. > :01:00.causing flooding problems. Winds surging up the Bristol Channel, for

:01:00. > :01:04.example. Further wet and windy weather to come across the West

:01:04. > :01:07.Country, parts of Wales, and bands of rain circulating around the

:01:07. > :01:11.areas of low pressure. Northern Ireland will see a deluge overnight

:01:11. > :01:15.as well. Temperatures are academic, really. It will not feel

:01:15. > :01:19.comfortable with all that wind and rain. More to come on Friday, with

:01:19. > :01:23.some subtle changes. Strong winds across southern areas, battering

:01:23. > :01:28.the coast in particular. Skies brightening across the South coast,

:01:28. > :01:32.so some improvement here. In Scotland, some drier spells, some

:01:32. > :01:36.brightness perhaps, but north- easterly winds knocking a

:01:36. > :01:38.temperatures on the head will mean it does not feel pleasant.

:01:38. > :01:44.Brightening up in Northern Ireland. Northern England seeing sharp

:01:44. > :01:48.showers. More heavy rain for Wales. Maybe some play at Edgbaston but

:01:48. > :01:52.interruption, too. Sunshine across the South coast, but strong winds

:01:52. > :01:57.in the Bristol Channel. And for Wales in particular it is just

:01:57. > :02:01.going to keep on raining all day long. When all is said and done, we

:02:01. > :02:07.could see 50 mm of rain over the high ground in the West, maybe more.

:02:07. > :02:10.We are keeping a close eye on that in partnership with the Environment

:02:10. > :02:15.Agency. The low pressure will drift into the North Sea on Saturday,
