:00:28. > :00:32.again, the second time in less than a week. Don't drop your guard in

:00:32. > :00:37.this area, showers around overnight and into tomorrow. A Met Office

:00:37. > :00:39.amber warning for rain further south in parts of the Midlands. The

:00:39. > :00:43.North and East Midlands in particular. Heavy showers starting

:00:43. > :00:47.to take shape, they could cause problems into the morning.

:00:47. > :00:51.Overnight, a lot of cloud around, showers of rain and heavy showers

:00:51. > :00:57.working into south-west England overnight. We really don't need

:00:57. > :01:02.more rainfall there. This area of heavy rain, North and East Midlands,

:01:02. > :01:08.in two parts of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Intense downpours,

:01:08. > :01:12.they could beat surface water flooding it. Across East Anglia and

:01:12. > :01:16.the south-east in contrast, tantalising glimpses of sunshine

:01:16. > :01:20.before the showers get going. This line of showers works across south-

:01:20. > :01:24.west England and may cause problems. It doesn't take much at the moment

:01:24. > :01:29.because the ground is so saturated. In Wales, plenty of cloud and

:01:29. > :01:32.outbreaks of rain to the north and west. After overnight rain in

:01:32. > :01:36.Northern Ireland, a mainly dry start to the day. In Scotland,

:01:36. > :01:41.another area of rain fall pushes in. It is in the north-east, it will

:01:41. > :01:44.hang around for much of the day. In Scotland and Northern Ireland,

:01:44. > :01:48.outbreaks of rain and showers. We have a heavy rain affecting parts

:01:48. > :01:53.of the Midlands, Yorkshire to Lincolnshire. It develops into

:01:53. > :01:57.thundery downpours. Elsewhere in northern England and further south

:01:57. > :02:03.across England, too. One of two showers into Northern Ireland. Much

:02:03. > :02:09.of the afternoon, south-west England, Wales, fringes of England

:02:09. > :02:13.become mainly dry. A cool day in eastern Scotland. It is still wet

:02:13. > :02:17.on Wednesday and the persistence of the rain here may cause problems.
