:00:14. > :00:17.There is a balance of power playing out across the UK as far as the

:00:18. > :00:21.weather is concerned. The general story tomorrow is of sunny spells

:00:21. > :00:25.and showers, but there is more to it. The closer you are to the area

:00:25. > :00:30.of low pressure to the north-west of UK, the more likely you are to

:00:30. > :00:33.get showers. The closer you are to the area of high pressure, the more

:00:33. > :00:38.likely you are to get drier and brighter weather. Tonight, we see

:00:38. > :00:43.that balance playing out. Share was more likely across western parts,

:00:43. > :00:48.drier weather further east. Mist and fog may form as the night goes

:00:48. > :00:55.on, much but it will not feel cold. Still quite humid across the south-

:00:55. > :00:59.east. Into Tuesday, a dry start for most, but it will not take long for

:00:59. > :01:03.those showers to get going across Scotland, Northern Ireland and then

:01:03. > :01:07.those western fringes of England and Wales. By the afternoon, we

:01:07. > :01:12.have heavy showers across a good part of Scotland. If you are caught

:01:12. > :01:17.in a shower, it could be quite torrential. Under in the mix as

:01:17. > :01:21.well. Not too many showers east of the Pennines. Not many showers

:01:21. > :01:25.across the Midlands, but not much sunshine either by the afternoon

:01:25. > :01:29.across East Anglia and the south- east. We could see rain in the

:01:29. > :01:33.south-eastern counties. That is an area to watch. There is doubt over

:01:33. > :01:38.the forecast here at the moment. There is the chance of a few sharp

:01:38. > :01:43.showers in the south-west of England. Some parts could stay

:01:43. > :01:47.bright. A similar mix across Wales, western parts most proud of -- most

:01:47. > :01:54.prone to the odd downpour. In Northern Ireland, you could get

:01:54. > :01:57.caught by a heavy shower, but it is hit and miss. In the evening and

:01:57. > :02:01.overnight, the showers are still lingering across the North western

:02:01. > :02:05.areas. The north and west are more likely to see showers again on

:02:05. > :02:10.Wednesday. Maybe not as frequent, but further south and east, there

:02:10. > :02:15.is a better chance of staying dry, with pleasantly warm sunshine.

:02:15. > :02:19.Similar mix for Thursday. Many more places managed to stay dry.

:02:19. > :02:22.Eventually, some rain pushes into Northern Ireland and western parts
