:00:11. > :00:16.night. Some subtle changes over the next few days. Most of us will be

:00:16. > :00:20.warming up nicely come the end of the week, but today most of us were

:00:20. > :00:23.cooling down, thanks to the cold front and the band of cloud that

:00:23. > :00:28.edges down across England and Wales. Ahead of that, in the sun in the

:00:28. > :00:34.south-east, it was very warm indeed. Up to 26 degrees or so. Behind that,

:00:34. > :00:38.it was much fresher and most of the UK were held into the high teens.

:00:38. > :00:42.The fresher air is continuing to move down across the south-east.

:00:42. > :00:46.Very windy across the far north of Scotland. The winds will ease, for

:00:46. > :00:50.the rest of us a quiet night. Clearing skies to allow

:00:50. > :00:56.temperatures in rural spots to dip down in the larger towns and cities

:00:56. > :01:01.staying in double figures. Tomorrow, fine day. There will be sun and

:01:01. > :01:04.patchy cloud. It will be dry virtually everywhere. A few showers

:01:04. > :01:07.across the north-west of Scotland. They will move quickly on the

:01:07. > :01:11.breeze. The breeze won't be anything like as strong as it has

:01:11. > :01:15.been today, so a fine day up and down the country. The showers will

:01:15. > :01:18.continue into the afternoon across the Highlands. This is 4pm. Broken

:01:18. > :01:22.cloud across most of Scotland and Northern Ireland and northern

:01:22. > :01:27.England too. Temperatures typically around 17 or 18 or 19. If you are

:01:27. > :01:31.still lucky enough to be on holiday, a good day to go to the beach in

:01:32. > :01:37.Wales and the West Country. Not as warm as today, but 21 in London

:01:37. > :01:40.with sunshine, light winds and will feel nice indeed. We have the one-

:01:40. > :01:44.dayer taking place at Trent Bridge. It is day and night. When the sun

:01:44. > :01:50.goes down it will cool off very quickly. There will be a chill in

:01:50. > :01:53.the night. A cold one and quite a musty one. Fog patches. All change

:01:54. > :01:57.further north though, with weather fronts bringing wet weather into

:01:57. > :01:59.north-western parts of Scotland on Thursday. Cloud pushing through

:02:00. > :02:04.other parts and Northern Ireland and more very pleasant sunshine for

:02:04. > :02:07.the south with the lighter winds here. Looking further ahead to the

:02:07. > :02:12.high pressure, it pushes the front back north and it will take most of

:02:12. > :02:17.the rain with it, so things will dry out across Scotland. A fair bit

:02:17. > :02:21.of cloud here. The best of the sun and temperatures further south.
