:00:09. > :00:12.From all us on the late team though, have a good night. There was a

:00:12. > :00:18.scattering of showers across many parts of the United Kingdom earlier

:00:18. > :00:22.today. For most of us the showers are now fading away. In this north-

:00:22. > :00:26.western area showers will continue, pushing into the Irish Sea. For

:00:26. > :00:31.most, a dry night with clearing skies. With the clearing skies and

:00:31. > :00:34.light winds it will turn chilly. Lowest temperatures for central and

:00:34. > :00:39.eastern areas, where the skies are clear, with the thicker cloud to

:00:39. > :00:44.the north and west temperatures not dropping away too far. For the vast

:00:44. > :00:49.majority it will be a chilly night. Major towns and cities, six, seven,

:00:49. > :00:53.eight, nine degrees. Rural spots temperatures will dip away to twos

:00:53. > :00:58.and threes. There could be a touch of frost on the grass first thing

:00:58. > :01:04.in the morning. Chilly start to the day. Showers to the north and west

:01:05. > :01:09.of Scotland. Dryer and brighter for the south and east. Lovely start to

:01:09. > :01:12.the North East of England. Plenty of sunshine. Not particularly windy.

:01:12. > :01:16.Similar idea for East Anglia and the south-east, single figure

:01:16. > :01:20.temperatures, not particularly windy, sunshine should compensate.

:01:20. > :01:24.Towards the South West, more in the way of cloud around, it shouldn't

:01:24. > :01:28.amount to much. A decent start to the day, as it is across most of

:01:28. > :01:33.Wales. The north of Wales will have thicker cloud and one or two

:01:33. > :01:38.showers. Showers to the coasts of the north-west of England. Showers

:01:38. > :01:44.into the South West of Scotland and into the north of Northern Ireland.

:01:44. > :01:47.Belfast it will be a dry and bright start to the day. There will be

:01:47. > :01:53.showers on Wednesday from the Midlands northwards. There could be

:01:53. > :01:57.sharp showers in East Anglia. Even in the showery zone good spells of

:01:57. > :02:05.sunshine. The best chance of staying dry are in the southern

:02:05. > :02:09.counties of England. All change as we look towards Thursday. The next

:02:09. > :02:14.weather system shaeding our way. That will bring rain with it. It

:02:14. > :02:17.could be a disappointing day for Northern Ireland, southern Scotland,

:02:17. > :02:20.northern England maybe into north Wales and parts of the Midlands. It
