:00:15. > :00:19.Hello, September is formally a gentle slide from summer into

:00:19. > :00:23.Autumn. But the last few days extensive flooding, severe gales

:00:23. > :00:26.bringing down trees in places. This was the picture in Edinburgh. We've

:00:26. > :00:31.had a lot of disruption to transport all because we've been

:00:31. > :00:35.visited bit most intense September storm since 1981. We've certainly

:00:35. > :00:38.known about it. We still have amber weather warnings at the moment.

:00:38. > :00:41.Through to midnight for the heavy rain. After that dropping to the

:00:41. > :00:47.next level. Can you see things beginning to improve. Only slowly

:00:47. > :00:52.because the amount of rain has been extraordinary. 123mm untilpm

:00:52. > :00:57.theengs at raifpbz worth. That's to the east of the Pennines. Still

:00:57. > :01:01.raining here at the moment. That rain ease as way overnight. There's

:01:01. > :01:05.the threat of heavy rain across south-east of Scotland for a time.

:01:05. > :01:08.That rain lingering across parts of North West England and pushing

:01:08. > :01:13.across parts of southern England and Wales through the night as well.

:01:13. > :01:18.Temperatures holding up around 10 to 12 degrees. Still potential for

:01:18. > :01:22.further disruption due to that heavy rain and its aftereffects.

:01:22. > :01:25.BBC local radio keeping you up to date with that. And the BBC website

:01:25. > :01:28.a good source as well. What about the travelling tomorrow morning?

:01:28. > :01:32.Across Scotland I don't think too many problems. One or two showers

:01:32. > :01:41.left from the overnight rain across the south-east. Niefrld looking

:01:41. > :01:44.largely dry and the sun's out -- Northern Ireland. The sun's out

:01:44. > :01:49.across eastern England. There's wet weather through the Midlands

:01:49. > :01:53.steching to London. There could be water on fast routes here. Heavy

:01:53. > :01:56.showers across the south-west and Wales. Through the day, certainly a

:01:56. > :01:58.lot better for most northern parts of the UK. A few showers here and

:01:58. > :02:02.there across northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, but

:02:02. > :02:05.not amounting to a great deal. Further south, there could be sharp

:02:05. > :02:08.showers across southern parts of England, South Wales, enough to

:02:09. > :02:12.maybe cause localised problems. Temperatures about where they

:02:12. > :02:16.should be for the latter part of September. As we go through

:02:16. > :02:20.Wednesday night, into Thursday, finally we start to get rid of that
