:00:09. > :00:13.Good evening. Our weather for this Hallowe'en has certainly been more

:00:13. > :00:17.trick rather than treat unfortunately. A spell of wet and

:00:18. > :00:21.windy weather still continues to move eastwards across the country.

:00:21. > :00:26.So it is an unsettled night to come. The rain is taking its time to

:00:26. > :00:30.arrive, crossing the north-west of England and Wales across the night

:00:30. > :00:35.and the south-west through the day. Gale force wind accompanying the

:00:35. > :00:39.rain. We will continue to see some squally winds and a band of

:00:39. > :00:44.persistent rain are still to clear away from eastern England. A noisy

:00:44. > :00:48.night, I suspect, for sleeping. Behind it, temperatures in Scotland

:00:48. > :00:53.already starting to fall away quite sharply. Some showers lingering,

:00:53. > :00:56.icy stretches and maybe some fog forming. The weather front clears

:00:56. > :01:01.rapidly first thing in the morning but could linger in the Shetland

:01:01. > :01:06.Islands, but it's a cold start across Scotland. And Northern

:01:06. > :01:09.Ireland. A cluster of showers first thing in the morning. More

:01:09. > :01:14.widespread showers in north-west England and North Wales and some

:01:14. > :01:20.sunny spells, though, may be in East Anglia. A legacy of cloud from

:01:20. > :01:26.that front, but it should shade away. Sunny spells and scattered

:01:26. > :01:28.showers further south and west. Some of them in the South East may

:01:28. > :01:33.filter further inland with the odd rumble of thunder through the day.

:01:33. > :01:37.A cold day with sunshine and showers, persistent but easing in

:01:37. > :01:42.Northern Ireland but gathering force across western Scotland later

:01:42. > :01:47.on. Temperatures struggling for the beginning of November, six-10

:01:47. > :01:51.degrees, despite the sunshine. The windows strengthening in the

:01:52. > :01:57.evening, which will push a showery rain across Scotland. On the tops

:01:57. > :02:01.of hills, someone to meanness. The same on the Pennines, as well. A

:02:01. > :02:04.cluster of showers and the Bristol Channel. These will linger, I

:02:04. > :02:09.suspect, on Friday, with more organised showers threatening the

:02:09. > :02:16.south-east. The wind is more of a feature on Friday. A disappointing

:02:16. > :02:21.feeling to the day, 6-9. Into the weekend, an area of low pressure

:02:21. > :02:26.drifts in further south. The wind circulating around that low-
