:00:11. > :00:15.Good evening. There is still some atrocious conditions out there at

:00:16. > :00:20.the moment. In some areas things could worsen before they get better.

:00:20. > :00:24.There is hope that tomorrow there'll be drier weather once this

:00:24. > :00:28.swathe of cloud has swept away. This mass of cloud - that is a

:00:28. > :00:34.storm brewing for the weekend. With today's rain on top of what we have

:00:34. > :00:38.seen this week, there are over 100 flood warnings in force.

:00:38. > :00:42.Even though the rain is tending to ease in western areas, that rain

:00:42. > :00:47.still has to flow into the river systems, so we could see further

:00:47. > :00:51.flood problems. You can see that swathe of rain. Some sharp, intense

:00:51. > :00:55.bursts, coupled with some very gusty winds, which have brought

:00:55. > :01:01.down trees and damaged buildings today. We are certainly not out of

:01:01. > :01:05.the woods yet. There'll be wild weather overnight. There could be

:01:05. > :01:08.problems with flooding and damage because of the winds. Generally

:01:08. > :01:12.speaking the showery activity should ease. Drier away from the

:01:12. > :01:15.coast in the north and west. Chilly inland.

:01:15. > :01:20.Icy patches in Scotland and Northern Ireland. It looks like, as

:01:20. > :01:26.I say, a quiet day for many - drier. For a while we will have the rain

:01:26. > :01:30.in southern and eastern areas. Some sunshine inland. Showers still

:01:30. > :01:33.pestering the Irish Sea coasts of England and Wales and gathering

:01:33. > :01:37.over Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland during the day. Showers

:01:37. > :01:43.continuing. They could be lively, as within hail, thunder and sleet

:01:43. > :01:47.and snow over the hills. They could give large rainfall amounts at time.

:01:47. > :01:51.Not the persistent rain of today. You can see they brew up a little

:01:51. > :01:55.bit more. Although the sun comes out in the south and the east, it

:01:55. > :02:00.will not feel particularly warm. It is just one day, we think, at the

:02:00. > :02:06.moment of drier weather. Following a frosty night tomorrow night, all

:02:06. > :02:10.eyes turn to the Bay of Biscay, where another storm is brewing. So

:02:10. > :02:14.potential for wet and windy weather to sweep northwards across the UK.

:02:14. > :02:18.Warnings are already out for that weather system, because it is

:02:18. > :02:22.likely we'll see further disruption, particularly as we have had such
