:00:12. > :00:14.Good evening. Friday brought a respite from the wet and windy

:00:14. > :00:18.weather across the UK, many areas seeing clear blue skies and

:00:18. > :00:21.sunshine. Under those clear skies now, temperatures are falling away

:00:22. > :00:25.sharply and we are looking at it widespread frost developing tonight

:00:26. > :00:30.and some quite stubborn batches of four. That could be an issue first

:00:30. > :00:34.thing on Saturday and waiting to was the start -- South West with an

:00:34. > :00:38.amber warning from the Met Office, and area of low-pressure that

:00:38. > :00:42.threatens for heavy rain. The rest of this evening and overnight,

:00:42. > :00:46.falling temperatures mean a frost quite widespread, but first thing

:00:46. > :00:50.on Saturday, we will actually see temperatures coming up a little

:00:50. > :00:54.towards the south of the UK as the clouds stars to spill in. Further

:00:54. > :00:57.north, a frosty start, but a beautiful looking start to the day

:00:57. > :01:02.for Scotland and Northern Ireland without the of sunshine but one or

:01:02. > :01:05.two areas could get stuck for some lingering fog. Across the North of

:01:05. > :01:09.England, the Vale of York, a favourite spot for hanging on to

:01:10. > :01:13.the fog and across the Midlands and the Welsh marches. Across the south,

:01:14. > :01:16.much milder because the cloud is already in and the rain is moving

:01:16. > :01:20.in. That is the reason we have an amber triangle on the satellite

:01:20. > :01:24.picture, a Met Office warning for the south-west of England and parts

:01:24. > :01:27.of Wales at the moment, where we are likely to see the heaviest and

:01:28. > :01:32.most persistent rain. The heaviest will not be during daylight hours,

:01:32. > :01:34.but it will be persistent for southern England moving into Wales

:01:34. > :01:37.and the Midlands through the afternoon. Further north, a

:01:38. > :01:42.beautiful afternoon for Scotland and Northern Ireland with plenty of

:01:42. > :01:44.sunshine but quite chilly. Increasing cloud across northern

:01:44. > :01:49.England but it is the rain that is likely to be the biggest talking

:01:49. > :01:54.point to the south of the UK on Saturday, when it will turn heavier

:01:54. > :01:58.again across the south-west of England and into South Wales. 20-40

:01:58. > :02:03.mm possible quite widely, in some areas 60 mm, in excess of two

:02:03. > :02:06.inches. To add to that, strong winds on Saturday evening for the

:02:06. > :02:10.south-west of England, transferring to the south-east and East Anglia

:02:10. > :02:15.during the early hours of Sunday, strong enough to potentially do

:02:15. > :02:19.some damage as they wrap their way around this Bull's eye of a low. It

:02:19. > :02:22.is not quite quickly on Sunday so for Sunday dined -- day time, dry
