:00:09. > :00:13.Good evening. There will be some more flooding rains in the next 24

:00:13. > :00:16.hours. It is marching into the south and west. The met Office have

:00:16. > :00:20.warnings out widely across the UK for that heavy rain and flood risk.

:00:20. > :00:24.However, there are a few areas that we are particularly concerned about.

:00:24. > :00:28.South-western part of England, South Wales, Yorkshire and southern

:00:28. > :00:33.and eastern Scotland. At 2-2 or three inches of rain in these areas.

:00:33. > :00:37.But other areas may have some flash flooding as well because it will be

:00:37. > :00:40.watched very wet. Some really intense rain is working its way

:00:40. > :00:47.across the south-west of England and it is happening overnight. We

:00:47. > :00:49.could have flooding in the morning. Ahead of it, fog. It will lift as

:00:49. > :00:53.the wind strengthened. It could turn chilly in the north of

:00:53. > :00:58.Scotland with an odd patch of ice. A mild pitch in the morning. Very

:00:58. > :01:01.wet. Expect strong winds, gales around the coast and a very wet day

:01:02. > :01:06.for many areas. Some parts of Central England, the Midlands,

:01:06. > :01:11.where we had flooding yesterday, could see more flooding rain as

:01:11. > :01:15.well. It looks particularly what across the North, Yorkshire, river

:01:15. > :01:18.levels are high and they could be flood problems. We have gale-force

:01:18. > :01:21.winds that are causing disruption to ferry services to the northern

:01:21. > :01:25.isles and if anything they will strengthen further tomorrow. We

:01:25. > :01:28.have a lot more rain to come on already waterlogged ground. It has

:01:28. > :01:32.no way to go. It will run into the river system. They will rise

:01:32. > :01:36.rapidly. We will have surface water flooding. There is little sign of

:01:37. > :01:41.it easing through the day tomorrow. It will be on and off but there

:01:41. > :01:44.will be heavy bursts. We could have snowmelt to add to the problems

:01:44. > :01:48.across southern and eastern Scotland. Very mild and the South.

:01:48. > :01:52.In the bracing wind it will be cold in the north. Struck -- strong

:01:52. > :01:55.winds continue through Saturday night in the north. More rainfall.

:01:55. > :02:00.They could be windy weather for Northern Ireland. Most of us will

:02:00. > :02:05.have strong winds, potentially damaging gusts. Sunday is hinting

:02:05. > :02:08.at being a little bit drier. That weather front is stuck in the north

:02:08. > :02:13.and we could have more rain coming into the South later. It looks as

:02:13. > :02:16.if by Christmas Eve we will have yet more rain to come in. There are

:02:16. > :02:20.warnings in force for that rain. It is the succession of these were the
