:00:10. > :00:13.Hello. Well, it doesn't know when to give up, does it? As you may

:00:13. > :00:18.have seen in the news, so the weather is disrupting the lives of

:00:18. > :00:22.many across the UK. Snow is the primary concern, and we have found

:00:22. > :00:25.a weather warnings through much of tonight, but rain has been a

:00:25. > :00:30.problem, flooding across south-west Wales. The radar shows the whole

:00:30. > :00:34.mixture of rain, sleet and snow, bright colours across northern

:00:34. > :00:39.England, Wales, the south-west of England, these are the areas of

:00:39. > :00:43.concern. Let's concentrate on the snow and see how it is going to go.

:00:43. > :00:48.Easing away from much of Scotland now, heading towards midnight, but

:00:48. > :00:52.still lingering across the borders and northern counties. Still may be

:00:52. > :00:57.another five centimetres possible here, an inch or two. I think the

:00:57. > :01:02.emphasis is moving on towards the Midlands for some of the heaviest

:01:02. > :01:07.snow, up to about four inches in some places. Using tone towards

:01:07. > :01:10.London, a mixture here of rain, sleet and snow. -- easing down.

:01:10. > :01:15.Very unpleasant travelling conditions for a time, through into

:01:15. > :01:19.the early hours. One way or another, there is likely to be further

:01:19. > :01:24.travel destruction this evening and overnight. BBC local radio or the

:01:24. > :01:27.travel pages of the website will keep you updated. Then I think

:01:27. > :01:30.Lincolnshire, the East Midlands, East Anglia will see more snow

:01:30. > :01:36.through the latter part of the night. Behind that, we are talking

:01:36. > :01:39.about the risk of ice as temperatures drop away for a time.

:01:39. > :01:42.But let's welcome some dry and sunny weather for Saturday, a lot

:01:42. > :01:47.of it around, especially across Scotland, England and Wales early

:01:47. > :01:51.on. Cloud encroaching from the West eventually, bringing patchy rain.

:01:52. > :01:55.Still decidedly chilly across central and eastern areas, lots of

:01:55. > :02:00.snow on the ground, but 10 degrees in Plymouth, and the winds from

:02:00. > :02:04.that direction through Saturday night bringing milder air but also

:02:04. > :02:07.an awful lot of rain. It is going to be a very wet night, maybe some

:02:07. > :02:13.snow across the tops of the Scottish mountains, but above

:02:13. > :02:18.freezing everywhere. Lots of rain on top of snow may lead to some

:02:18. > :02:24.flooding. That will be a concern for the next few days. Strong winds
