:00:08. > :00:13.Good evening. The cold weather that is with us at the moment is going

:00:13. > :00:17.nowhere in a hurry and will be with us well into next week. Overnight,

:00:17. > :00:21.as temperatures fall away, a risk of icy stretches developing,

:00:21. > :00:23.particularly across Scotland and parts of Wales. A lot of weather

:00:23. > :00:29.fronts across Scotland at the moment, which will bring snow to

:00:29. > :00:34.the highest ground. Skies then clear behind it and temperatures

:00:34. > :00:39.will fall sharply, hence the risk of ice. In Wales, clear slots

:00:39. > :00:43.developing after recent rain, and we could see some ice as well. A

:00:43. > :00:47.fairly widespread frost set to develop, so they could be a risk of

:00:47. > :00:51.ice anywhere. The day dawns in Scotland with plenty of sunshine,

:00:51. > :00:55.but it will be cold first think, and a reminder again that there

:00:55. > :00:58.could be ice to contend with. Brightening skies in the north-west,

:00:58. > :01:02.and the remainder of the weather front will bring in some cloud,

:01:02. > :01:06.outbreaks of rain, may be sleet or snow in the north-east and threw

:01:06. > :01:10.into the Midlands. Some early sunshine across East Anglia and the

:01:10. > :01:13.south-east. But it will not last throughout the day. Further west,

:01:13. > :01:17.maybe a little grey initially across the south-west of England

:01:17. > :01:21.and Wales, maybe some patchy rain, but here it will brighten up

:01:21. > :01:25.quickly through the morning. It could be quite windy out to the

:01:25. > :01:28.west, and that will add to the chilly feel. For Northern Ireland,

:01:29. > :01:32.a lot out from the word go. The picture here will struggle to break

:01:32. > :01:36.through the day as we have another weather front pushing its way

:01:36. > :01:40.through the north-west of the UK, clouding up the skies across the

:01:40. > :01:45.north-west and bringing in rain. Elsewhere, a lot of sunshine

:01:45. > :01:51.towards the west of the UK. Further east, the sun is cut by cloud

:01:51. > :01:54.drifting in and Reich -- outbreaks of rain. Perhaps Kent and Sussex

:01:54. > :01:58.managing to hold on to some sunshine till the end of the day,

:01:58. > :02:02.but it could turn wintry through Friday evening. Saturday, another

:02:02. > :02:06.cold affair, cloud around, outbreaks of rain especially in the

:02:06. > :02:10.south and west possibly falling asleep or snow. Saturday is the

:02:10. > :02:15.more benign day of the two. It will stay cold, and on Sunday there

:02:15. > :02:19.could be some snow disruption. The area of low pressure spinning out
