:00:09. > :00:14.Good evening. A tale of two halves this weekend. Saturday looking like

:00:14. > :00:18.the brighter prospect at the moment, and some chilly night, yes, it is

:00:18. > :00:21.April but the long nights are still going to allow some patchy frost and

:00:21. > :00:24.even some fog together, because we have had the shower, the reason for

:00:24. > :00:29.the settled conditions through today and into tomorrow, this ridge of

:00:29. > :00:33.high pressure, it holes the weather fronts as bay, but they are starting

:00:33. > :00:37.to creep closer to the western shores of the UK, so we will see

:00:37. > :00:42.increasing cloud. Not through tonight and the clouds decrease

:00:42. > :00:46.tonight, the starry night allowing that frost to develop in a few area,

:00:46. > :00:52.but a widespread ground frost despite temperatures in the towns

:00:52. > :00:56.and cities staying above freezing, I hints the possibly of fog in East

:00:56. > :01:00.Anglia and the south-west, other areas are prone, but it should clear

:01:00. > :01:05.readily. By morning there will be a strengthening breeze, ushering in

:01:05. > :01:09.more cloud. It is a decent day for most of us. More sunshine than

:01:09. > :01:14.today, for central and eastern parts of England, where we had most of the

:01:14. > :01:19.showers. Light winds, the sunshine now as strong as it is in late

:01:19. > :01:23.August so pleasantly warm weather round, with the light winds.

:01:23. > :01:27.Similarly so further west. There could be isolated showers, and there

:01:27. > :01:32.maybe a bit of fog in the Bristol Channel, with the exception rather

:01:32. > :01:38.than the rule. Plenty of warm sunshine to come. And eastern

:01:38. > :01:42.Scotland and to start initialled but it does deteriorate through the

:01:42. > :01:45.afternoon. More rain as we head towards evening time. That tends to

:01:45. > :01:49.squeeze the high pressure out of the way, bringing that fine weather

:01:49. > :01:53.instead, it is replaced by wet and windy weather, potential for gales

:01:53. > :01:56.in the north-west, a wet end to the night on Sunday, though still cold

:01:56. > :02:02.enough for patchy frost in the south-east and fog, and a bit of

:02:02. > :02:06.snow on the very tops of the Scottish mountains. So as I say, a

:02:06. > :02:09.tael of two halves with the wetter half coming on Monday. That rain

:02:09. > :02:13.edges across northern around western England into Wales. Brightening into

:02:13. > :02:16.sunshine and showers towards the north and west, but always promising

:02:16. > :02:21.at this strange to stay dry for the south-east and for the London
