:00:12. > :00:18.Good evening. It has been another very hot day across the southern

:00:18. > :00:22.half of the British Isles. I keep being asked how long is it going to

:00:22. > :00:29.last? Love it or loathe it, there is more to come up for the weekend

:00:29. > :00:33.at least. It is going to become increasingly widespread if anything.

:00:33. > :00:42.Temperatures widely in the high teens as we move into the small

:00:42. > :00:47.hours on Wednesday. An uncomfortable night for some. Once

:00:47. > :00:55.the sun gets up on Wednesday, the temperatures start to build. To the

:00:55. > :00:59.north there is still more cloud and some weather fronts, so it is a

:00:59. > :01:06.little fresher here in the afternoon. Further south it could

:01:06. > :01:11.even touched 32 degrees. That would take us into that hottest day of

:01:11. > :01:15.the year so far. You may have noticed there are showers at

:01:16. > :01:21.showing up. We may catch a few thunderstorms, particularly during

:01:21. > :01:26.the early evening. But the range 1 not reached the ground because it

:01:26. > :01:33.is so dry out there at the moment. There will still be some rain to

:01:33. > :01:37.the north of the UK. But we are hopeful we will see some brighter

:01:37. > :01:41.weather by the time we get to the afternoon. Sunny spells for

:01:41. > :01:45.Northern Ireland and plenty of sunshine in northern England.

:01:45. > :01:51.Patchy cloud in Wales and the south-west, but still plenty of

:01:51. > :01:59.sunshine. Something else that is not in short supply at the moment

:01:59. > :02:03.is pollen. A high count across the UK. It looks like that will be the

:02:03. > :02:08.story for the end of the week and into the weekend as we keep the

:02:08. > :02:11.high pressure. We keep the same air, and we get rid of the cloud and the

:02:11. > :02:21.weather front for Scotland and Northern Ireland and that allows
