:00:08. > :00:12.Good evening. We've got a few more days of October to go, but enough

:00:13. > :00:17.weather information to mark 2013 as weather information to mark 201 as

:00:18. > :00:22.a very wet and windy -- wet and windy month in October. It has been

:00:23. > :00:27.very mild both by day and by night, so tonight's weather coming a bit of

:00:28. > :00:33.a shock, because it is turning cold out there. We have clear skies and a

:00:34. > :00:38.risk of frost. A little bit more cloud in western areas, but

:00:39. > :00:43.foremost, a dry night. Under those starry skies, temperatures tumble.

:00:44. > :00:56.In towns and cities, Lowes will be five or six, but the countryside,

:00:57. > :00:58.two or three will be the temperatures to start tomorrow

:00:59. > :01:00.morning. The risk of freezing across more sheltered parts of northern

:01:01. > :01:02.England and Scotland. Tomorrow morning, the cloud will quickly

:01:03. > :01:06.increase across Northern Ireland, as a weather system brings heavy rain

:01:07. > :01:10.and strong winds, which will then move into Scotland, north-west

:01:11. > :01:16.England, Wales and south-west England. Ahead of that, we will hold

:01:17. > :01:22.onto some dry and bright weather. Fairly breezy, and one or two

:01:23. > :01:27.showers on the south coast. Inland, keeping the sunshine throughout the

:01:28. > :01:30.afternoon. Always much more cloud as we had across north-west England,

:01:31. > :01:38.with some outbreaks of rain, heavy at times across Scotland. Gales just

:01:39. > :01:42.to around 60 mph in the north-eastern corner of Scotland for

:01:43. > :01:55.a time. Things are improving for Northern Ireland as that weather

:01:56. > :01:57.front clears through. Sunshine in the afternoon, and highs of around

:01:58. > :02:00.12. Cloudy, wet and windy for Wales and south-west England, with highs

:02:01. > :02:02.around 14 degrees. That band of cloud and rain moves Southeast

:02:03. > :02:06.overnight on Wednesday, and it looks like it will be fairly stubborn to

:02:07. > :02:11.clear the south-east corner at first on Thursday. Eventually, it should

:02:12. > :02:18.do so, leaving behind a day of sunshine, showers, and another windy

:02:19. > :02:21.day. Temperatures around average. The forecast for Friday and the

:02:22. > :02:29.weekend looks like we are going to stick with this wet and windy theme,

:02:30. > :02:31.with more though pressure systems developing out in the Atlantic. The
