:00:07. > :00:14.Hello, you'll often hear is talking about fronts. I've got a lovely

:00:15. > :00:17.example to show you. A front is the dividing line between different air

:00:18. > :00:22.masses. Here we have some warm tropical air to the side, colder air

:00:23. > :00:26.to the north. Look about strong dividing line. That is where we find

:00:27. > :00:31.the front, so we're at it moves northwards, it means the warm front

:00:32. > :00:36.moving towards the north and the cold air moving south. With the warm

:00:37. > :00:41.air rising, it condenses into cloud and it will increasingly produce

:00:42. > :00:46.some rain. Across Wales and southern parts of England. To the north,

:00:47. > :00:50.clear spells, so temperatures dipping away. Apache frost across

:00:51. > :00:55.northern England and temperatures low enough for some icy patches by

:00:56. > :01:05.the end of the night in amongst those showers. Further showers

:01:06. > :01:07.across northern parts of the UK for the day. Our band of rain will work

:01:08. > :01:11.slowly northward allowing something dry and brighter to push into the

:01:12. > :01:16.south about. The rain pushing up across north-west England, too.

:01:17. > :01:20.North-east England, largely dry Sunshine across central and eastern

:01:21. > :01:25.parts of Scotland. Further blustery showers falling snow across the

:01:26. > :01:30.highest ground. The wind not quite a strong for Northern Ireland. A mix

:01:31. > :01:34.of sunny intervals and showers for here. Come further south, the front

:01:35. > :01:39.will increase again across South Wales to the afternoon, edging back

:01:40. > :01:45.into south-west England, too. Head of it, we will have pretty strong

:01:46. > :01:55.winds. Gales in the south-west and the English Channel coast, but look

:01:56. > :01:57.at these temperatures getting into the mid-teens in many places. A

:01:58. > :01:59.little bit of brightness coming through as well. Through Wednesday

:02:00. > :02:02.night, we will push away towards the south. Meanwhile, that area of low

:02:03. > :02:06.pressure pushing towards the north-west of UK will pick up the

:02:07. > :02:08.wind across Scotland and Northern Ireland and the rain will struggle

:02:09. > :02:15.to clear from the far south-east but, in between, quite a lot of dry

:02:16. > :02:21.and bright weather. 9-10 in the north, 12-13 in the south. Friday,

:02:22. > :02:25.breezy day once again. Further showers in western areas. Not too

:02:26. > :02:27.many in the east and temperatures where we would expect to see them
