:00:07. > :00:14.Good evening. Thankfully, no severe weather on the way as far as we are

:00:15. > :00:18.concerned to the levels we saw in Sardinia. Ice may be a hazard, but

:00:19. > :00:26.not the levels of rainfall we saw in the medal. Phenomenal amounts of

:00:27. > :00:31.rain are circulating around an area of low pressure. Forecasters in the

:00:32. > :00:41.Western Mail are now turning their attention to this cloud pushing into

:00:42. > :00:45.the UK tonight. There are some outbreaks of rain in northern

:00:46. > :00:51.Scotland and northern England, but most outbreaks of rain lifting

:00:52. > :00:55.overnight. Some frost down in the south-east corner, temperatures down

:00:56. > :01:01.as low as minus five there. Frost-free but the rush-hour here,

:01:02. > :01:04.but grey skies compared with the sunshine we had this morning.

:01:05. > :01:09.Although temperatures are higher, it is going to feel a bit cold, given

:01:10. > :01:12.the strength of the wind. Heavy bursts of rain working into North

:01:13. > :01:17.Wales and part of the north Woodlands, with some hail and sleet

:01:18. > :01:20.mixed in. That will push through northern England and Scotland quite

:01:21. > :01:26.early on in the rush hour. Temperatures will dip in its wake,

:01:27. > :01:30.and we could see some widespread ice on the roads and pavements during

:01:31. > :01:34.the morning rush-hour. Strong winds out to the west of Scotland and

:01:35. > :01:39.Northern Ireland, bringing frequent showers throughout the day. A lot of

:01:40. > :01:44.sunshine as well, eventually, after a wet start to the afternoon in the

:01:45. > :01:48.south, things will brighten up here. The temperatures will be a nudge

:01:49. > :01:52.higher than today, but the winds will make it feel as cold. A few

:01:53. > :01:57.showers will continue into the evening, but those that clear could

:01:58. > :02:01.leave some damp ground, so ice could be an issue. Through tomorrow night

:02:02. > :02:07.and into Thursday, it is back to the wind. An area of low pressure pushes

:02:08. > :02:11.southwards into France. Plenty of showers coming into eastern areas.

:02:12. > :02:18.Most of the showers ease through the day on Thursday. Towards the west,

:02:19. > :02:21.high-pressure is starting to building towards the end of the

:02:22. > :02:27.week, settling things down a little bit. North-east winds across the

:02:28. > :02:30.south-east corner on Saturday, and frost being an issue. But down
