:00:09. > :00:16.As expected we have seen some atrocious weather this evening and

:00:17. > :00:25.it is not finished just yet. Earlier we had the strongest gusts in the

:00:26. > :00:29.South West and Wales. This has dropped to a certain extent. Now the

:00:30. > :00:39.wind is strengthening in Scotland and northern Ireland. We have had

:00:40. > :00:45.squally wind and torrential downpours. It is a fast-moving

:00:46. > :00:51.situation. Showers are packing in behind that front. And we still have

:00:52. > :00:58.a warning in place for Scotland and Northern Ireland for that severe

:00:59. > :01:07.wind. Tomorrow things will be a little quieter. Some wintry showers

:01:08. > :01:13.coming in. They are still around early in the morning. By this stage

:01:14. > :01:18.many eastern parts should be dry and bright with some early sunshine.

:01:19. > :01:28.More cloud and showers further north. Frequent showers for Northern

:01:29. > :01:39.Ireland and Scotland. Then the wind does drop. Few showers in the East.

:01:40. > :01:46.And a lot of snow to come in the hills of Scotland. Temperatures will

:01:47. > :01:53.be lowered tomorrow and it will feel colder even in the sunshine. We have

:01:54. > :02:06.a band developing in the West containing some snow. That pushes

:02:07. > :02:14.away. The could be some icy patches around. And temperatures close to

:02:15. > :02:19.freezing even in towns and cities. Many parts of England and Wales

:02:20. > :02:25.starting dry and bright. Scotland and Northern Ireland turning wet and

:02:26. > :02:29.windy. This peak area of low pressure is bringing that wet and

:02:30. > :02:30.windy weather across
