:00:00. > :00:14.That's it for tonight. Have a very good night. Good bye.

:00:15. > :00:20.Good evening. Tomorrow's weather on its own is not exceptional for early

:00:21. > :00:22.January. What makes it potentially dangerous is it is combines with

:00:23. > :00:35.some of the highest tides we have seen. Severe flood warnings for some

:00:36. > :00:40.coastal parts of the UK. We are looking at the Atlantic once again

:00:41. > :00:43.for the source of the weather. This cloud, a deepening area of low

:00:44. > :00:47.pressure heading our way. The head of that and acted weather system

:00:48. > :00:51.producing rain. That will push eastwards overnight. So the amount

:00:52. > :00:55.of rain in one spot is not that large because it is moving through.

:00:56. > :01:00.But it could cause limited problems with localised flooding. Tomorrow we

:01:01. > :01:04.have low-pressure pushing in towards the north-west of the UK. The

:01:05. > :01:09.strongest winds will be across more western parts. Strong onshore

:01:10. > :01:18.winds, gale force along the English Channel coast, and up to the western

:01:19. > :01:23.coasts. Highest tides potentially of 2014 and lots of flood water coming

:01:24. > :01:27.down the river systems. That is why we have severe flood warnings. Gusts

:01:28. > :01:34.up to possibly 70 or 80 miles an hour. Inland, there will be some

:01:35. > :01:38.strong winds, particularly Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern parts

:01:39. > :01:42.of England and Wales. Heavy and persistent rain, central and

:01:43. > :01:47.southern Scotland. Cold enough for some snow across the higher parts of

:01:48. > :01:51.the Scottish mountains. Mild in the south but it won't feel that way

:01:52. > :01:57.Jews to the strong winds. That store moves out of the way in the early

:01:58. > :02:02.part of the weekend. But this weather system is problematic. Not

:02:03. > :02:05.too sure about the detail on how much brain it will give but it could

:02:06. > :02:10.be a rough day across central and eastern parts of the UK. It could

:02:11. > :02:14.give some snow across higher ground in the North. But the wind will be

:02:15. > :02:19.lighter and it will be drier. As we go into Sunday, a storm battering

:02:20. > :02:22.the east coast of the USA will head into the Atlantic and once again,

:02:23. > :02:27.spread wet and windy weather across the UK. The next few days brings

:02:28. > :02:28.more widespread gales, heavy rain and of course the continuing risk of

:02:29. > :02:30.flooding.
