:00:00. > :00:09.Good evening. Well, most of us haven't seen any of

:00:10. > :00:14.the white stuff so far this winter so I thought I would remind you of

:00:15. > :00:17.what it looks like! Across the pond we got too much of that stuff. This

:00:18. > :00:24.is the scene in New York State right now. Heavy, disruptive snow fall.

:00:25. > :00:28.Minus nine Celsius. In York, it was a pleasant day and hazy sunshine

:00:29. > :00:33.after the fog cleared, but it is starting to rain now in York. The

:00:34. > :00:38.band of wet weather trudging across the country. Some sharp bursts of

:00:39. > :00:44.rain. Some snow for the north Pennines. Behind that, as skies

:00:45. > :00:47.clear, we could see a late dip in temperatures so perhaps slippery

:00:48. > :00:51.surfaces. This morning, it was fog across eastern counties of England.

:00:52. > :00:58.This maybe the scene that greets you tomorrow morning. Some dampness

:00:59. > :01:02.around for sure. Some rain to come for a time in the morning. Further

:01:03. > :01:05.west, some brightness around. A few shallow fog patches, but they will

:01:06. > :01:09.clear and many of us can look forward to a reasonable day. A few

:01:10. > :01:14.showers scattered around, but not many for most, but later on in the

:01:15. > :01:18.day, you will see a band of heavier showers developing across Scotland.

:01:19. > :01:20.The overnight rain easing off into the Northern Isles, but brightness

:01:21. > :01:25.in between. And for most of us, through the middle part of the

:01:26. > :01:30.afternoon, it should be reasonable. There will be a few showers around.

:01:31. > :01:34.Eastern most counties of England might cling on to the cloud and

:01:35. > :01:41.dampness later on in the day. In the brighter spells, further west, it

:01:42. > :01:45.will be mild. Now as we go into the evening, one

:01:46. > :01:49.little line of showers that zips across the country only to be

:01:50. > :01:54.followed by a line of heavy showers. Quite a lot of snow over the higher

:01:55. > :01:57.ground of Northern Britain. Behind that, although we will see sunshine,

:01:58. > :02:01.it will be a colder day on Thursday and there will be wintry showers

:02:02. > :02:09.across northern parts of the country. Five or six Celsius will be

:02:10. > :02:14.typical. It will turn frosty into Friday morning. That spells wet and

:02:15. > :02:20.windy weather. On the leading edge of that, as it hits the cold air, we

:02:21. > :02:25.could see a little bit of snow. But for most of us, it looks like rain.

:02:26. > :02:27.As we look ahead to the weekend, it stays windy at times as well and

:02:28. > :02:42.there will be rain at times too. The average person moves home

:02:43. > :02:47.eight times during their life. So that's eight times

:02:48. > :02:51.we have to move the sofa. Eight times

:02:52. > :02:54.we have to redecorate. Eight times

:02:55. > :02:59.we have to locate the stopcock. But there's one thing

:03:00. > :03:02.that's easy to do when you move -
