:00:00. > :00:08.weather will continue. With more on that, here is the National forecast.

:00:09. > :00:12.Good evening. I would like to start by showing you simply haven't seen

:00:13. > :00:17.the quite some time. After a three-month onslaught, finally I can

:00:18. > :00:21.show you a chart with high pressure across the whole of the UK. Yes

:00:22. > :00:25.things are settling down. You may have spotted, though, that says

:00:26. > :00:31.Monday, so we have a little way to go yet. We have some rain in the

:00:32. > :00:34.forecast. Not so much in the area suffering from flooding up to now

:00:35. > :00:38.but in northern parts of the UK it's been a wet day for a western

:00:39. > :00:42.Scotland and more to come here settling across Northern Ireland and

:00:43. > :00:47.western part of England and Wales. A relatively mild from underneath the

:00:48. > :00:51.cloud. 7-8. Maybe chilly with clear spells in the south-east. Northern

:00:52. > :00:55.Scotland, a chilly start of the day tomorrow. A lot of cloud around you

:00:56. > :00:59.will notice tomorrow and still plenty of rain across northern and

:01:00. > :01:02.western parts. The rain becoming more extensive across Scotland

:01:03. > :01:05.through the afternoon. A bit more patchy for south-west England and

:01:06. > :01:11.Wales, but the odd heavy best possible. This one bright spot,

:01:12. > :01:16.though. The south-east corner of England, 13-14 potentially. You

:01:17. > :01:19.might get similar temperatures in sheltered parts of north-east and

:01:20. > :01:25.Wales but otherwise, not that pleasant. 9-10d. A wet day for

:01:26. > :01:29.Northern Ireland, north-west England and much of Scotland. A wet

:01:30. > :01:33.afternoon. Some snow across the very highest ground but snowmelt is more

:01:34. > :01:37.likely feeding into the river systems. That band of creep away

:01:38. > :01:47.across England and Wales through Friday becoming more patchy. -- that

:01:48. > :01:50.band of rain will creep away. That cold air on Friday doesn't last all

:01:51. > :01:57.that long. As they go into the weekend, warm air spreading across

:01:58. > :02:03.the whole of the UK. Preceded by a spell of snow across the Scottish

:02:04. > :02:05.mountains. A wet day here, too. But, as a brighter weather extends into

:02:06. > :02:12.England and Wales, temperatures will rise once again. Really feeling

:02:13. > :02:16.quite springlike. By Sunday, the first sign of things settling down.

:02:17. > :02:21.The rain easing off, the wind easing, as well. Temperatures in the

:02:22. > :02:25.mid teens in places, so, yes, heading for a settled spell of

:02:26. > :02:28.weather at long last. Take a look on the website for the forecast of

:02:29. > :02:29.where you are in
