:00:00. > 3:59:59over Friday but fog less of a problem

:00:00. > :00:10.over the weekend. Good evening. Step outside in the

:00:11. > :00:15.morning and it feels a bit fresh. Reassure yourself, it could be a lot

:00:16. > :00:19.worse. Exactly a year ago it was extraordinarily cold and snowy.

:00:20. > :00:23.These were some of the scenes. This march is very different. A very

:00:24. > :00:27.pleasant in the sunshine, once the fog has cleared. The fog is

:00:28. > :00:30.re-forming again right now. Nasty patches developing through the

:00:31. > :00:37.night, becoming widespread across England and Wales. In the

:00:38. > :00:43.north-west, rain across Scotland. Temperatures well below these

:00:44. > :00:47.values. We have a yellow warning in force from the Met Office for fog.

:00:48. > :00:51.Could be very difficult patches around and disruption is certainly

:00:52. > :00:56.possible. Check your BBC local radio station in the morning. These are

:00:57. > :00:59.the areas we think will be worst affected. The Thames Valley, the

:01:00. > :01:03.Somerset Levels, the Severn Valley, the Trent Valley and up towards

:01:04. > :01:08.Merseyside. It went before the everywhere but the risk is there.

:01:09. > :01:11.Fewer patches further north but more cloud across Scotland, particularly

:01:12. > :01:16.in the West, where it will be a dreary, damp start. This weather

:01:17. > :01:21.front will move further southwards through Scotland but most of rain

:01:22. > :01:27.will stay out, with very little reaching eastern Scotland. Northern

:01:28. > :01:30.Ireland stays mostly dry and fine. 20 of sunshine across England and

:01:31. > :01:35.Wales once the fog has cleared. It will linger in a few spots, keeping

:01:36. > :01:39.it cool, but most places will eventually warm up quite nicely Mid

:01:40. > :01:44.possibly high teens in some places though coastal fringes will stay

:01:45. > :01:47.misty. For green forms and we do it all again on Friday. It will take a

:01:48. > :01:51.while for the patches to clear across the southern half of the UK.

:01:52. > :01:54.Further north, windy and another front brings wet weather for a time

:01:55. > :01:59.across the north and west of Scotland. Sunshine further south and

:02:00. > :02:04.east and it will feel very nice up into the high teens in a few places.

:02:05. > :02:08.For the weekend, weather fronts will cross the country but will be fairly

:02:09. > :02:11.weak. They will thicken up the cloud at times and bring some patchy rain,

:02:12. > :02:16.particularly across northern and western parts, but with high

:02:17. > :02:19.pressure in close attendance I'm reasonably optimistic for the vast

:02:20. > :02:24.majority through this weekend. There will be a lot of dry weather. The

:02:25. > :02:27.best of the sunshine across the more southern and eastern areas, where it

:02:28. > :02:29.will feel quite warm, though tempered by a blustery wind.
