:00:00. > :00:00.the weekend. The clocks do go forward on Saturday night. Now here

:00:00. > :00:11.is Nick Miller with the national forecast.

:00:12. > :00:15.Hello. The clocks go forward this weekend, marking the beginning of

:00:16. > :00:19.British summertime, BST. It has nothing to do with the weather. As

:00:20. > :00:25.the clocks changed last year we were coming out of the March freeze.

:00:26. > :00:32.This year, though, as the clucks change, the weather is warming up.

:00:33. > :00:37.Not clear blue sky, the sun will be hazy but the thunder storms will be

:00:38. > :00:41.gone. It will be mainly dry. And the weather is lively out there

:00:42. > :00:44.this evening. There are bands of rain with hail over western parts of

:00:45. > :00:48.the UK. A bit of rain for parts of the north

:00:49. > :00:54.of England and south-west of Scotland. And lots of hill fog into

:00:55. > :00:59.the Pennines. Mist and fog in the central and eastern areas of

:01:00. > :01:05.England. It is a slow start in the morning. A lot of cloud around first

:01:06. > :01:10.thing. Misty in places. Damp on the ground after the overnight rain in

:01:11. > :01:14.south-west England. Clearing, it may threaten the Isles of Scilly

:01:15. > :01:18.throughout the weekend, though. The hazy sunshine into the south-east of

:01:19. > :01:22.England and East Anglia, with lots of hill fog into the Pennines and

:01:23. > :01:26.cloud in Northern Ireland, there is early rain there pushing away, bun

:01:27. > :01:31.then a little pulse in the afternoon. The patchy rain in

:01:32. > :01:36.Scotland is clearing. And the south and the west areas of the country

:01:37. > :01:40.will brighten up slowly. It is a slow process. Lifting the sunshine

:01:41. > :01:44.to the north across the UK as the day goes on. There is a pulse of

:01:45. > :01:48.rain heading into Northern Ireland. With the sun breaking out, the

:01:49. > :01:53.temperatures respond. Even with a brisk south-easterly wind, it will

:01:54. > :01:56.peg the temperature down but inland, Wales could be up to 17 Celsius and

:01:57. > :02:02.close to that in south-west Scotland. Not so for Belfast and

:02:03. > :02:06.nowhere near it in the east of Scotland and north-east England

:02:07. > :02:11.Here the threat of low cloud and drizzle. The same on Sunday.

:02:12. > :02:15.Elsewhere on Sunday, variable cloud. Hazy sunshine and a temperature

:02:16. > :02:18.heading up a little further. It could be the warmest day of the

:02:19. > :02:23.year. The weather pattern on Monday is similar. There is instability in

:02:24. > :02:29.the atmosphere, so there could be showers and thunder storms breaking

:02:30. > :02:30.out but with sunshine between. Thanks to the clock change giving
