:00:00. > 3:59:59again. London, 21`22. 102 showers in the afternoon. The outlook, rather

:00:00. > :00:10.cloudy with some rain on Thursday. Good evening. Before we get to the

:00:11. > :00:13.weather details, little bit about the pollution which we have been

:00:14. > :00:18.talking about in the weather reports over the last couple of days. The

:00:19. > :00:23.pollution levels actually during the course of Wednesday, tomorrow, will

:00:24. > :00:28.be very high across a large swathe of the country. A couple of reasons

:00:29. > :00:32.why this is happening. During today, high levels of pollution across

:00:33. > :00:35.parts of East Anglia but you can see how extensive it becomes tomorrow.

:00:36. > :00:39.One of the reasons this is happening is because of a light wind dragging

:00:40. > :00:45.pollution from here in our direction and on top of that, our own

:00:46. > :00:49.pollution from industry, industrial pollution, but by Thursday, the

:00:50. > :00:53.weather pattern will change so we think the pollution levels will tend

:00:54. > :01:00.to go down a little bit. Certainly by Thursday. On top of that, we also

:01:01. > :01:06.have the dust which has been driven in from the Sahara Desert so our

:01:07. > :01:12.cars are pretty grubby. That will continue for another couple of days.

:01:13. > :01:16.That leads to a high level of pollution but onto the forecast for

:01:17. > :01:20.tonight, for most of us, and mild night. Some rain on the way. It has

:01:21. > :01:26.been quite a chilly day in the north-east of the country and it

:01:27. > :01:29.will be a fairly chilly night, 5-6. Ford in places, but then rain is

:01:30. > :01:35.forecast for the south-west of the country and that will be moved

:01:36. > :01:39.northwards. Hit and miss. I think tomorrow, from tomorrow morning,

:01:40. > :01:44.from the south-west of the country all the way northwards towards

:01:45. > :01:47.Northern Ireland and Scotland, these areas, by no means will be raining

:01:48. > :01:51.all the time but from time to time there could be a downpour coming

:01:52. > :02:00.through with rumbles of thunder. For the Southeast, a hazy day. A warm

:02:01. > :02:04.one, possibly, up to 22. Depending on how much sunshine. Still pretty

:02:05. > :02:11.chilly in the north-east. Thursday, a bit of an east-west split, so the

:02:12. > :02:17.rain across western areas will help clear some of the pollution. There

:02:18. > :02:22.is uncertainty how heavy it will be but I think by the time we get to a

:02:23. > :02:28.roundabout Friday, there is a hint here in the wind direction, the wind

:02:29. > :02:29.coming from the south-west, fresher Atlantic air finally.
