:00:00. > :00:00.weather will turn a lot more unsubtle, so for the time being, the

:00:00. > :00:07.weekend doesn't look grey. Here's Nick Miller with the national

:00:08. > :00:18.outlook. The weather is going downhill, and

:00:19. > :00:20.here is why. Weekend weather developments are now to the

:00:21. > :00:25.south-west of us, low-pressure forming, and this has the weekend

:00:26. > :00:31.whether written all over it. But first to the weather front we have

:00:32. > :00:35.now. Still some heavy bursts, maybe with a rumble of thunder, but clear

:00:36. > :00:40.spells developing in Northern Ireland, Wales and the south-west.

:00:41. > :00:49.Perhaps just a slight ground frost here and there. More significantly,

:00:50. > :00:53.mist and fog forming. And even in the London area, it is possible.

:00:54. > :00:57.Bear that in mind if you have an early journey. If it affects travel,

:00:58. > :01:03.you can hear about it on your BBC local radio. The last of the fog

:01:04. > :01:06.will be gone by late morning, and then the day transform is, a lovely

:01:07. > :01:11.afternoon for most of us, dry with broken cloud and some warm sunny

:01:12. > :01:15.spells. The last of the overnight rain will still be there in the

:01:16. > :01:19.early morning for parts of the north and east. But there will also be a

:01:20. > :01:29.few hit and miss showers developing through the afternoon. They will

:01:30. > :01:36.tend to form over hilly areas. Most of us will avoid them and stay dry.

:01:37. > :01:41.It will be pleasantly warm with light winds. But throughout the rear

:01:42. > :01:47.the threat of low cloud and see fog along the North Sea coast. Once that

:01:48. > :01:55.arrives, the temperature comes down. But inland, south-east England may

:01:56. > :01:58.see 18 Celsius. There is some uncertainty about Friday, but it

:01:59. > :02:06.looks as though the east will see plenty of cloud. West remains best.

:02:07. > :02:10.And then comes the downhill part of the forecasts, this area of low

:02:11. > :02:15.pressure by Saturday is coming in, brisk winds around it, bands of wet

:02:16. > :02:20.weather feeding into the UK. We can give you more detail about the

:02:21. > :02:26.weekend as we get closer to it. But generally, long spells of wet

:02:27. > :02:28.weather, but in between, also some sunshine, said the weather going
