:00:00. > :00:10.Good evening. Most of us look like ending the week on a dry note. Some

:00:11. > :00:15.of us end it today on a particularly wet note. Notably across parts of

:00:16. > :00:19.south-west England and up into the Midland, a line of vicious storms

:00:20. > :00:25.and thunder in there too. They have been spreading further west in parts

:00:26. > :00:29.of Wales and southern counties. They'll tend to fade away the rest

:00:30. > :00:33.of the night, but one or two lingering on. Most other places

:00:34. > :00:37.having a quiet night. Cloud and mistiness out there.

:00:38. > :00:40.Across the glens of northern Scotland, temperatures will get well

:00:41. > :00:45.down into single fir. But for most of the rest of us, a relatively mild

:00:46. > :00:49.night staying in double digits. One or two showers from word go across

:00:50. > :00:52.the south-west which will be the focus for any showers tomorrow.

:00:53. > :00:54.There won't be that many. Most of the country will have a quiet day,

:00:55. > :01:05.albeit rather cloudy. Through the afternoon, a snapshot,

:01:06. > :01:09.mid afternoon one or two showers across Scotland but most places will

:01:10. > :01:13.avoid these. A fair bit of cloud. Some of the best of the sunshine

:01:14. > :01:19.will be around the coastal fringe, the cloud filling in inland.

:01:20. > :01:21.Pausing across Wales, we have the Queen's Baton Relay which will

:01:22. > :01:25.continue to move into north-eastern parts of Wales. If you are

:01:26. > :01:28.attending, it should be dry and hopefully you will see some sunshine

:01:29. > :01:32.with light winds, feeling very pleasant indeed. The focus for any

:01:33. > :01:35.showers will be further south-west across Wales and more particularly

:01:36. > :01:37.the south-west of England. They won't be as widespread or heavy as

:01:38. > :01:45.they were today. Mid to high teens, maybe the odd 20

:01:46. > :01:51.somewhere and with light winds, it will feel quite pleasant. More of

:01:52. > :01:54.the same on Saturday. A quiet day, a bit of cloud around and the odd

:01:55. > :01:59.shower breaking out across the heart of the UK.

:02:00. > :02:03.Mid to high teens, low 20s in some places with light winds. So far so

:02:04. > :02:07.good. Into Sunday, the weather front has

:02:08. > :02:11.been challenging us forecast, in terms of how quickly it spreads

:02:12. > :02:15.east. It looks as if it will push into Northern Ireland and Scotland,

:02:16. > :02:19.so things going downhill here with rain arriving through the day.

:02:20. > :02:23.Further south and east, a good chance we'll see some sunshine and a

:02:24. > :02:27.good few of us will stay dry. There is an increasing risk of showers

:02:28. > :02:29.later on. The detail a little uncertain. We'll
