:00:00. > :00:11.couple of days. You may have just heard the mention of the risk of

:00:12. > :00:16.storms at the weekend in regional forecasts. That depends on how this

:00:17. > :00:22.cloud in the Atlantic interacts with humid air developing over the rest

:00:23. > :00:29.of Europe. Today has been a pretty wet Wednesday across many areas We

:00:30. > :00:34.have an area of rain pushing briefly across southern counties of England.

:00:35. > :00:40.In between there is occasional rain and drizzle. The driest weather will

:00:41. > :00:49.reach Northern Ireland and Wales later. We start tomorrow with dry

:00:50. > :00:53.and bright conditions. It will be a cloudy and damp start by some and it

:00:54. > :00:58.may struggle to completely brighten up in northern England. Cloudy in

:00:59. > :01:03.the north of Northern Ireland as well. But in Scotland cloudy

:01:04. > :01:11.outbreaks of rain are coming and going and it is very misty with hill

:01:12. > :01:15.fog. Elsewhere, one or two showers. Thursday night and into Friday we

:01:16. > :01:21.stick with cloud and outbreaks of rain in the North of Scotland. Maybe

:01:22. > :01:28.the odd rumble of thunder in the far south-west. Friday is a dry day with

:01:29. > :01:32.long spells of hazy sunshine. But later it could get quite humid

:01:33. > :01:37.across the South and that sets the scene for an interesting but tricky

:01:38. > :01:43.forecast for the weekend. All the ingredients are there for a thundery

:01:44. > :01:47.recipe. The dividing line between this is where we see the weather

:01:48. > :01:53.friend and the potential for some severe thunderstorms. We are a

:01:54. > :01:56.little less confident about how quickly the thunderstorms push

:01:57. > :02:04.across the country and to get the wettest weather. At the moment it

:02:05. > :02:11.looks like this. It pushes its way northwards and eastwards. It depends

:02:12. > :02:15.how quickly that pushes through but we could see temperatures into the

:02:16. > :02:22.mid-20s before it turns a bit fresher. It will still be very

:02:23. > :02:26.pleasant on Sunday. A bit wet in the far north of Scotland, but a lot of

:02:27. > :02:28.dry weather around and
