:00:00. > :00:00.turn pressure with temperattres easing back and here is my colleague

:00:00. > :00:08.with the rest of the weekend forecast.

:00:09. > :00:14.A day of contrast today. In the Northwest we saw cloud moving in

:00:15. > :00:19.which brought a little bit of rain but it also stopped temperatures

:00:20. > :00:23.from rising too far. 16 or 17 degrees typical, contrasted with 20

:00:24. > :00:27.degrees in London. We will see the skies clear across the southern half

:00:28. > :00:30.tonight. Some rural spots might dip into single figures and there might

:00:31. > :00:34.be showers, mist and fog in rural spots, but that's about it for

:00:35. > :00:38.England and Wales. Further north, heavy bursts of rain on the west of

:00:39. > :00:42.Scotland. Not too much on the eastern side, and some rain getting

:00:43. > :00:45.into Northern Ireland by dawn. In the rush hour across central and

:00:46. > :00:51.western Scotland, not pleasant, it will be wet but not too windy. And

:00:52. > :00:55.Northern Ireland is not great. Surface spray on the roads. Northern

:00:56. > :01:00.England, cloud in the morning, but most places on a drying out. South,

:01:01. > :01:04.a dry start, then we are into plenty of sunshine through the morning

:01:05. > :01:08.Warm sunshine, 17 or 18 degrees and the winds are light. We are only a

:01:09. > :01:12.couple of degrees behind that in the south and west. Extra cloud develops

:01:13. > :01:19.across England and Wales, so sunny spells in the afternoon. Further

:01:20. > :01:24.north, it becomes lighter and patchy as the rain sinks to the south. We

:01:25. > :01:28.keep the temperature contrast. 6 in Glasgow, 27 in London, quite humid

:01:29. > :01:31.and the pollen count remains high. Through the evening, rain in

:01:32. > :01:34.southern Scotland, but ahead of that across parts of England,

:01:35. > :01:38.particularly the East and Midlands we might see thunderstorms breaking

:01:39. > :01:42.out. On the other side of the Atlantic, in Brazil, a full day of

:01:43. > :01:49.action and there could be thundery showers for the matches, but they

:01:50. > :01:53.will both be hot and humid. The temperatures this weekend, slipping

:01:54. > :01:58.back a few degrees. However, a lot of dry weather and eastern England

:01:59. > :02:04.will probably see the biggest drop in temperatures, going from the

:02:05. > :02:08.middle 20s to the low teens on Saturday. So a noticeable change in

:02:09. > :02:11.the feel of the weather and it will look different. There will be a bit

:02:12. > :02:16.more cloud, one or two showers dotted around, but in the south

:02:17. > :02:21.West, a bit lighter and sunshine and with light winds are pretty decent

:02:22. > :02:25.start the weekend. A similar day on Sunday call and breezy and inland

:02:26. > :02:28.one or two showers are most places dry. Some light wind in the south

:02:29. > :02:30.and West,
