:00:00. > :00:10.Good evening. If you were unfortunate enough to be at the

:00:11. > :00:17.sharp end of the weekend storms you'll be pleased to know that the

:00:18. > :00:21.atmosphere is less volatile now. Temperatures of 28 Celsius on the

:00:22. > :00:25.Sussex coast today. Most places were fine and warm.

:00:26. > :00:30.In Scotland it was cool with the breeze off the sea. Some eastern

:00:31. > :00:34.coasts will be cooler. They will be the exception. Most of us very warm

:00:35. > :00:39.and the vast majority will stay dry. That is the way overnight. A lot of

:00:40. > :00:43.low cloud drifting to eastern counties. Misty towards the

:00:44. > :00:48.north-eastern coast of Scotland. Maybe the odd spot of rain over

:00:49. > :00:54.Northern Ireland. Dry. A muggy, humid night. It will be a cloudy old

:00:55. > :00:59.start over some eastern counties. That will gradually thin and retreat

:01:00. > :01:02.towards coastal areas. Patchy rain over the west of Northern Ireland.

:01:03. > :01:08.Mid-afternoon and some of these numbers might be on the conservative

:01:09. > :01:19.side. I would not be surprised if we reach 28 Celsius - warmer than today

:01:20. > :01:21.for many of us. Some patchy rain. Sharp showers over the west of

:01:22. > :01:26.Northern Ireland. The odd shower over the Highlands of Scotland. Most

:01:27. > :01:32.of Scotland will be fine and dry. To Wednesday, more of the same. A murky

:01:33. > :01:36.start. No two days exactly the same. Another fine day with sunshine. In

:01:37. > :01:41.Northern Ireland it should brighten up as well. Temperatures will

:01:42. > :01:46.respond once more up to the mid-to high 20s. Again along that eastern

:01:47. > :01:51.coastal fringe it will be cooler w the breeze off the sea. Further

:01:52. > :01:57.west, in Glasgow, we have the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth

:01:58. > :02:00.Games. It will be lovely. Sun will be shining and temperatures up here.

:02:01. > :02:04.Looking further ahead, well the pressure falling a little bit. With

:02:05. > :02:07.the front coming back in from the west, that means a greater chance of

:02:08. > :02:13.showers breaking out once more across Northern Ireland and some

:02:14. > :02:18.western and southern parts of the UK, seeing showers. Many of us

:02:19. > :02:23.though will be dry and fine, with plenty more warm sunshine.

:02:24. > :02:26.Temperatures up into the high 20s in some places. Along the eastern coast

:02:27. > :03:09.it will be cooler w DRUMBEATS CONTINUE

:03:10. > :03:24.WITH SWELLING, DRAMATIC MUSIC
