:00:00. > :00:08.pushing from the north`west, a top temperature of 22 degrees.

:00:09. > :00:15.Hello! We had a touch of autumn in August, now we are hoping for a bit

:00:16. > :00:19.of summer in September, both as a result of former Hurricanes. It was

:00:20. > :00:25.Hurricane Bertha that brought cold air a week or two ago, now we have

:00:26. > :00:28.another later in the week moving into the Atlantic, but it is going

:00:29. > :00:33.to take a more northerly track, picking up this warm, subtropical

:00:34. > :00:37.air, pushing it across the Atlantic, hopefully arriving on our shores,

:00:38. > :00:42.something warmer, drier and sunnier for most of us for the first week of

:00:43. > :00:47.September. Tonight, actually, fairly mild for most, quite a breezy night,

:00:48. > :00:51.blustery across many north-western parts around this area of low

:00:52. > :00:54.pressure, touching near gale force through the Irish Sea. Heavy rain

:00:55. > :01:01.moving out of Northern Ireland N-word into a good part of northern

:01:02. > :01:06.Scotland. -- onwards. In clear spells, temperatures no lower than

:01:07. > :01:10.13 or 14 degrees. Not a great start to Friday across Scotland, further

:01:11. > :01:14.outbreaks of rain likely, quite heavy as well across western areas.

:01:15. > :01:18.Brightness and drier weather coming into Northern Ireland could last for

:01:19. > :01:23.a good part of the day, but we see further rain into the north-west of

:01:24. > :01:26.England, a wet start here, patchy bits and pieces further south. Ahead

:01:27. > :01:31.of that, central and eastern parts, a dry start to the day, sunny

:01:32. > :01:35.spells, temperatures up into the mid or high teens already. That breeze

:01:36. > :01:38.quite noticeable everywhere tomorrow, still blustery across

:01:39. > :01:43.these north-western areas, with further rain feeding in. That could

:01:44. > :01:46.stick around through the Central Belt of Scotland for much of the

:01:47. > :01:51.day, further rain coming into Wales, north-west England, but much of the

:01:52. > :01:54.East staying dry. Temperatures of 21 will not feel too bad. Temperatures

:01:55. > :01:59.generally getting closer to where they should be for the latter part

:02:00. > :02:04.of August. The weekend prospects, starting reasonably well, Saturday a

:02:05. > :02:09.quieter day, winds lighter, sunshine around, just a scattering of

:02:10. > :02:13.showers. High teens or low 20s, most of us getting something similar for

:02:14. > :02:17.Sunday, but you will notice a change to the north-west, freshening winds

:02:18. > :02:20.bringing a band of rain in across north-western parts. That will slide

:02:21. > :02:24.southwards as a weakening front during Monday. The main thing is

:02:25. > :02:28.this high pressure beginning to build in, and that looks like it

:02:29. > :02:41.will stay with us through into the first week of September, and as

:02:42. > :02:42.Boys think they're better than girls, and they're not.

:02:43. > :02:44.In 7 Up, we watched their characters emerge.

:02:45. > :02:49.Boys think they're better than girls, and they're not.

:02:50. > :02:53.I love the idea of being married. It'd be well good.
