:00:00. > :00:00.London. On Wednesday and Thtrsday it will also feel fairly warm, and the
:00:07. > :00:12.cloud will make a difference to the temperature as Matt Taylor explains.
:00:13. > :00:16.Good evening. If you have left it late for your summer break this
:00:17. > :00:22.year, the weather will probably be kind to you. Most places will be dry
:00:23. > :00:28.and it will be fairly warm as well. Most places will see temperatures in
:00:29. > :00:33.the high teens, but they could reach the mid-20s. The problem is judging
:00:34. > :00:37.those cloud breaks from day-to-day. The high pressure is settling things
:00:38. > :00:42.down, but also dragging in some cloud and we have this weather front
:00:43. > :00:47.trapped, which at the moment is producing some heavy bursts of rain
:00:48. > :00:54.over Kent and Sussex. It will be a misty and murky night towards the
:00:55. > :00:58.east. Clearer skies, and in the countryside temperatures will get
:00:59. > :01:02.down to silver figures. Light winds in the morning, and where we have
:01:03. > :01:07.the sunshine it shouldn't feel too chilly. The weather front is still
:01:08. > :01:11.tangled amongst the high pressure, anywhere from Teeside to the
:01:12. > :01:17.south-east it will potentially be a misty start with four patches
:01:18. > :01:23.around. Most of you start the day dry. Coming into the Midlands
:01:24. > :01:28.westwards, a much brighter start of the day. Any morning mist and fog
:01:29. > :01:34.patches should shift quite readily. Variable amounts of cloud as we push
:01:35. > :01:37.into the north of England, but like we finished today, north-west
:01:38. > :01:42.Scotland and Northern Ireland will have quite a bit of cloud in places
:01:43. > :01:46.with passing showers towards the Western Isles. There is still the
:01:47. > :01:53.chance of some showers towards eastern parts of England but most
:01:54. > :02:03.will have a dry day. With those sunny breaks around and light winds,
:02:04. > :02:07.it will be pleasantly warm day. The high pressure system moves off into
:02:08. > :02:11.Scandinavia, we have wind circulating around that clockwise
:02:12. > :02:20.and that means for the UK southeasterly winds. In Scotland,
:02:21. > :02:24.the Moray Firth will be one of the best favoured spots for the
:02:25. > :02:27.sunshine. Sunshine developing elsewhere as well, particularly in
:02:28. > :02:40.the south-east and temperatures could get into the mid-20s, as we
:02:41. > :02:42.Go away if you don't me to speak to you like that!
:02:43. > :02:46.Most schools exclude disruptive pupils.
:02:47. > :02:49.I ain't putting up with this any more.
:02:50. > :02:54.But one school takes them in and promises five GCSEs.
