:00:00. > :00:10.Good evening. Thankfully over the next few days temperatures are not
:00:11. > :00:13.that likely to be too close to the 14 degrees we saw across North West
:00:14. > :00:19.Scotland today under grey and gloomy skies. But more akin to the 23
:00:20. > :00:22.degrees we saw in Northolt under fairly sunny conditions. Over the
:00:23. > :00:26.next few days we have a south-easterly drift that. Pushes
:00:27. > :00:32.away the cloud we've seen across Scotland and Northern Ireland a bit.
:00:33. > :00:35.But we have cloud heading our way. It's not clear blue skies by any
:00:36. > :00:38.means. Tonight, it won't be clear skies everywhere. We will see a bit
:00:39. > :00:42.more cloud develop across central and eastern parts of England.
:00:43. > :00:44.Turning misty in a few spots. That cloud across western Scotland and
:00:45. > :00:48.Northern Ireland and in between where we see the clearer skies, even
:00:49. > :00:52.a few mist and fog patches here and there. Dropping temperatures in the
:00:53. > :00:55.countryside, but for most, a milder start to the morning compared with
:00:56. > :00:57.this morning. Still the cloud across northern and western Scotland,
:00:58. > :01:01.Northern Ireland to start the day. That cloud is continuing to thin and
:01:02. > :01:04.break from the south-east. A brighter day in store. Warmer one as
:01:05. > :01:08.well. There could be more in the way of low cloud to the north-east of
:01:09. > :01:11.Scotland and more in the way of grey skies compared with today across
:01:12. > :01:15.north-east England, through the Midlands, east Wales and central and
:01:16. > :01:19.southern England. With that, on top of the hills, a bit of hill fog
:01:20. > :01:21.possible. There will be some fog to lower level sites particularly
:01:22. > :01:26.across Lincolnshire and East Anglia too. The low cloud struggles to lift
:01:27. > :01:31.through the morning. If you start with grey skies, the skies brighten
:01:32. > :01:34.up. If you start with blue skies overhead, cloud develops through the
:01:35. > :01:38.afternoon. But it's largely dry and a bit warmer than today as well We
:01:39. > :01:43.could see temperatures close to around 24 or 25 degrees.
:01:44. > :01:47.High pressure is in charge at the moment. It stays into Thursday
:01:48. > :01:52.keeping things dry. Pushing away this area of low pressure which is
:01:53. > :01:58.trying to creep towards Ireland We have a weather front which will get
:01:59. > :02:01.close through the latter stages of Thursday, bringing patchy rain. One
:02:02. > :02:04.or two showers across Scotland. Elsewhere the cloud could be thick
:02:05. > :02:07.enough in the mornings and overnight for some drizzle. A lot of dry and
:02:08. > :02:11.bright weather. Morning cloud breaking up and temperatures getting
:02:12. > :02:14.up to around 22 or 23 degrees. End of the week, a bit more uncertainty
:02:15. > :02:18.involved. This weather front could be pushing down from the north. This
:02:19. > :02:26.area of low pressure getting close to the South West. But high pressure
:02:27. > :02:49.dominates. Most of you stay largely dry.
:02:50. > :02:54.about the breeding habits of Icelandic shellfish is back.
:02:55. > :03:03.OK, OK, it's ACTUALLY about the warm-beverage preference
:03:04. > :03:06.Oh, the old David Mitchell chat-up line.
