:00:00. > :00:00.and west. Top temperatures likely of 21 degrees. Possibly a bettdr day by

:00:00. > :00:00.Sunday. 21 degrees. Possibly a better day by

:00:00. > :00:10.Sunday. Hello, you know when you get

:00:11. > :00:16.temperatures in the mid-20s at this time of year that we are on borrowed

:00:17. > :00:23.time. By the weekend, we will not be getting 26 Celsius like today. But

:00:24. > :00:26.by the weekend, we're not going to have the low cloud we have had in

:00:27. > :00:30.Edinburgh throughout the week holding the temperature down, so

:00:31. > :00:34.there are some changes on the way. Right now, the warm muggy air has

:00:35. > :00:40.been triggering thunderstorms across the south of the UK. Bristol and

:00:41. > :00:45.Cardiff, and other areas heading towards the south coast. Southern

:00:46. > :00:51.England, the Midlands and Wales as the night goes on, some torrential

:00:52. > :00:55.thundery downpours. May keep some of us awake. For Northern Ireland,

:00:56. > :00:58.northern England and Scotland, mainly dry, but missed and low

:00:59. > :01:07.cloud, hill fog becoming extensive again. It is muggy. This is the

:01:08. > :01:10.morning, difficult to pinpoint exactly where the downpours are

:01:11. > :01:13.going to be, but we have to cater for the possibility in London,

:01:14. > :01:17.across into Bristol, the Midlands and Wales. Not for everyone, but

:01:18. > :01:22.where they are, they could be torrential with a lot of surface

:01:23. > :01:25.water and spray. Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland will

:01:26. > :01:32.start mainly cloudy and dry. Missed, low cloud and hill fog for much of

:01:33. > :01:38.the UK. There will be some showers. Not as heavy as they are further

:01:39. > :01:42.south in the afternoon. Isolated thundery downpours. Wales, the

:01:43. > :01:45.Midlands and East Anglia. As it brightens up through the afternoon,

:01:46. > :01:48.southern England and South Wales will become warm again, but that

:01:49. > :01:53.could trigger further torrential thunderstorms and a risk of hail

:01:54. > :01:58.into the evening. Saturday, still a few heavy showers affecting southern

:01:59. > :02:04.areas from the word go. Showers in the North, moving south but brighter

:02:05. > :02:09.and fresher weather in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Getting rid of the

:02:10. > :02:14.low cloud in eastern Scotland. High pressure on Sunday, fresher when,

:02:15. > :02:19.sunny spells. Not as warm but less humid, better air quality and better

:02:20. > :02:24.visibility. That might take some boxes for you. The story of the

:02:25. > :02:28.weekend, the cloud is lifting, better visibility and turning

:02:29. > :02:41.fresher. But cooler? Yes. So probably

:02:42. > :02:53.Is rocket science easier than you think?

:02:54. > :02:58.Well, BBC iWonder is full of great questions

:02:59. > :03:02.for curious people like us. They just keep on coming.

:03:03. > :03:04.Luckily, they have the answers as well.

:03:05. > :03:07.Actually, could we leave it there, cos I'd quite like to
